Sedan 2001 har Oyama Sausage Co. sålt sina hantverksmässiga patéer, salamis, skinkor, prosciuttos och korvar på den offentliga marknaden till glädje för både lokalbefolkningen och besökare. This was one of the best food tour experiences I have ever had. From beginning to end, it was full of information and delicious food. I highly recommend this tour. Shout out to Sandra who was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating.
Fantastic tasting tour of the many delights of Granville Market. Mu was a fabulous guide. He paced the tour well, knew so much about the food and vendors and ensured everyone was well looked after. The tastes themselves were a good balance of savory and sweet and covered a unique range from pickles to pad see ew! Finishing with the local Lee’s donut was a special treat.

Recently completed the Granville Island Market Public Tour with Nolan. He was a great tour guide-engaging, interesting, and easy to get along with. Tour included tasting from a countless number of vendors as well as some Granville Island/Vancouver history. Good for all ages. A little pricey but ultimately had a great time. Thanks Nolan!

Our guide, Mu, was outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed our food tasting tour with him and would do it again in a heartbeat just to enjoy his company and fun style in sharing the culinary and island history. The food and beverage samples were well sequenced to deliver a fantastic overview of the many delights of Granville Market. Lemonade, artisanal bread, cream Earl Grey tea, salmon, cured meats, Thai noodles, macaroons, the famous honey glazed donut, and so much more. We were stuffed and happy by the end. Great tour, highly recommend this to anyone who likes food!

This was one of the best food tours I have taken. Good variety of tastings, generous portions and great information about the owners and their ingredients. Mu, our guide was considerate, knowledgeable and had a passion for what he was doing and talking about. Besides the food history and market history, he also gave us information on the harbor’s industrial history and that of the indigenous people of that area. Mu is a great asset to this tour company and I sincerely appreciate his friendly and joyous personality. I highly recommend him and this tour.

So pleased we picked this tour. Easy to book and great communication. Our tour guide, Mu, was clearly so passionate about the foodie delights in Granville Island Public Market and we enjoyed a perfectly curated tour rather like a taster banquet. Cooling iced lemonade tea, Breads, Cheeses, pickles, charcuterie meats, salmon, yummy sweet treats, coffee and finally donuts. We learned all about the entrepreneurs who set up their businesses here and who are just as enthusiastic as Mu is about food. Our group included a family with young children who had a great time enjoying the foodie delights too. Although the market isn't ginormous there is quite a lot of walking involved as you weave in and out of the market. We didnt need a little else to eat that day and had a delightful trip back to Vancouver vis False Creek ferries and an Uber.

5/5 stars! This was one of the highlights of our trip to Vancouver. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, energetic, and made the experience both fun and informative. Even though Granville Island Public Market can feel busy and chaotic, everything was run so efficiently. Our guide kept the group organized, had a great demeanor throughout, and made navigating the market feel effortless. We got to try a great variety of foods while learning about the history and vendors along the way. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Vancouver!
