Sedan 2001 har Oyama Sausage Co. sålt sina hantverksmässiga patéer, salamis, skinkor, prosciuttos och korvar på den offentliga marknaden till glädje för både lokalbefolkningen och besökare. Under åren har Oyamas begåvade team av korvmakare producerat över 400 olika produkter, varav många är gjorda av exotiskt och frigående kött.

Everything about this was excellent. Booking was done online through GetYourGuide and very straightforward. Joining instructions were clear and simple. The meeting point was easy to find. Our guide, Michael, was very knowledgeable and very engaging and delivered an incredibly enjoyable experience. There was ample food to taste which was of an exceptional high quality and generous in quantity. It is worth being diligent with any dietary preferences as, with advance notice, they can arrange to manage these. It was an excellent 2 hours and Michael deserves a big thank you.
One of the best food tours I have ever had. Food sampling selection was excellent. Our guide Micheal did great job taking about history of Vancouver, Granville Island, vendors, and ingredients.
We noted that the same tour was less expensive when booked with TripAdvisor (vs Viator), so that was good. Granville Island is quite congested, so give yourself plenty of time to arrive and get adjusted. Our guide, Mu, was outstanding - very knowledgeable about the vendors and kind. The food samplings were excellent and we had a great time!
Michael took the 13 of us through a fantastic and varied group of food places in the public market on Granville Island. It was organized and best of all my friend who needs to be gluten-free. Had alternatives at each stop. Michael was informative and empathetic and we got the background of the whole area as well as each owner of the small businesses we had samples from. I highly recommend this food tour.
I've been on a lot of food tours. This provided a taste of the market without leaving me stuffed half way through. We had bread, cheese, meet, fish, Thai, lemon bars, chocolate, macrons, and donuts as well as tea and coffee. Well worth the money. Mu was an excellent guide.

An excellent tour with an excellent tour guide. The explanations were very helpful and the samples were very good. The tour guide had a great knowledge of the vendors at which we stopped.

We received complimentary tickets but thought the tour would be a fun way to try a wide range of local produce. We were not disappointed and our host (Michael) was excellent. As well as inviting us to try all offerings, he respected anyone who wished to decline some foods. He knew his products and was passionate about each. The foods were thoughtfully presented as if part of a planned meal and quantities were appropriate. I especially enjoyed hearing the background histories of the makers and their produce. The group of 10 participants worked well. Highly recommended.

Come hungry! It's a lot of food! Lydia was fantastic and ads to the experience of tasting and imagining ingredients into your own day to day. We thoroughly enjoyed it! We bought snacks to sustain us through our hikes through Banff and it was such a great way to tie in the entire Canadian experience!
