Vår guidade vandringstur genom Vallettas pulserande gator låter dig upptäcka skönheten och charmen i den befästa staden som byggdes av riddarna 1566. Johannesorden härskade över öarna i 268 år och lämnade ett unikt kulturarv som Valletta är det främsta exemplet på och ett UNESCO-världsarv. Vi njuter först av en fantastisk utsikt över Grand Harbour från Upper Barracca Gardens. Därefter besöker vi S:t Johannes katedral (valfritt eller ledigt), inklusive Caravaggio mästerverk i oratoriet, de flamländska gobelängerna och kyrkomuseet. Co-katedralen rymmer ett av de vackraste marmorinlagda golven i världen. Längs Republic Street promenerar du förbi Stormästarpalatset och det nyligen restaurerade St George's Square innan du tittar på Malta Experience (måndagar) eller Malta 5D (onsdagar), en audiovisuell show där Maltas historia genom århundradena väcks till liv igen.

Se en audiovisuell show där Maltas historia genom århundradena väcks till liv igen. På måndagar kommer den audiovisuella showen att visas på Malta Experience och på onsdagar kommer den att visas på Malta 5D bio.

Ville historique, très intéressante à découvrir.La cathédrale est très jolie but too many people. The guide was too fast and did not speak loud enough.

Thoroughly worth the cost for Elisabeth’s clear and insightful commentary. A great mix of history of Malta, art history, geography and culture. Elisabeth’s knowledge and delivery was brilliant. She was happy to answer lots of questions and had a lovely smile. So glad she was there for our visit to St John’s Co-Cathedral, we would have missed lots without her. Her insight into Caravaggio and his style of painting was very enlightening too! It was an absolutely pleasure.
Incredible cathedral, We did a walking tour the previous day with Matthew from colour my world. His in depth knowledge provided an excellent background into our trip to the Cathedral. The ornate tombs of the 400 Knights are Incredible. Everything was clean ,the rules are few but very clear . People were adhering to them which is nice to see. The masterpieces on display are stunning. Caravaggios .Beheading of St john the baptist plus the very insightful side exhibit digitally explains the work. You don't need to be an art lover to enjoy this place at all. You just need to be in awe at the work.
Absolutely incredible place, we were there for over 3 hours and there was so much to see and experience, both for us adults and also the son

Enjoyed seeing the sights and the Malta Experience - but the guided talk was no better than we could have read in a travel book - the guide did not bring the city and history to life. We also realised afterwards that entry to the Malta Experience should have gained us access to the Sacra Inferma, but the guide did not point this out.

Please be aware that the Malta Experience ticket purchased from the venue at €16 per person is a combo ticket which indeed includes a 30 minute tour only in English of La Sacra Infermeria. Our excursion, as clearly stated in the description, is to the Malta Experience as a single entrance EXCLUDING the combo La Sacra Infermeria entrance. Our guides are fully trained to give you all the detail you may find in a guide book, as well as the latest results of ongoing research which have not yet made it into the guide books, whilst at the same time brining the long history of the city to life.
