Om du reser till Bolivia är en dagstur till Uyuni Salt Flats något som inte kan missa. Kryssa längs världens fantastiska landskap och ta otroliga perspektivbilder i världens största saltlägenheter.

Salar de Uyuni eller "saltslätterna" är en av världens högsta öknar, omgiven av berg och vulkaner som når 5000 meter över havet. Din rundtur börjar kl 10:30 från kontoret. Det första stoppet blir Uyunis "tågkyrkogård", för att se de första loken i Bolivia. Du kommer sedan att besöka den lilla bosättningen Colchani (saltgruvarbetares verkstäder bredvid saltslätterna). Här ser du hantverk gjorda av salt och textilkonst gjord av lama- och alpackafiber. Turen fortsätter till Uyunis stora Salt Flats, som ligger på en höjd av 3650m. Ta foton när du kryssar längs den stora vita vidderna av salt, se Los Ojos de Agua Salada ('saltvattenögon') och besök sedan ett hotell helt gjort av salt! Denna fantastiska plats fungerar för närvarande som ett museum.
Efter denna fullspäckade morgon, efter lunch, fortsätter du till "Isla Incahuasi" (Fiskön), där du kommer att ha tid att ta en vandring till toppen av ön för att se gigantiska kaktusar och klippformationer gjorda av förstenade korall. Se till att du och din grupp poserar för några roliga perspektiv- och proportionsförvrängda bilder, tagna mot bakgrund av saltslätternas slående vita yta. Sedan åker vi till en lugn plats för att se den vackra solnedgången över saltslätterna. Avsluta vid byn Colchani och kom till sist tillbaka till Uyuni senast 18:30

- SUGGESTED PACKING LIST: Solhatt, solglasögon (för att skydda dina ögon mot den ljusa bländningen från saltrutorna), solskydd, kappa, handskar, ullhatt, vandringsskor, varma strumpor, vattenflaska, snacks, personlig medicinering, kamera, handtvätt , personlig första hjälpen kit.
- Viktigt: Under regnperioden (från november till april) är det inte möjligt att ta sig till Incahuasi Island. Det finns dock möjlighet att besöka ön om det inte regnar på dagen för din tur. Vi kan också sova på en annan plats på grund av vägtillfart
- Viktigt: Under vintersäsongen (från maj till augusti) är det inte möjligt att komma åt nationalparken Eduardo Avaroa (röd lagun, Dali-dessert, grön lagun). Det finns dock möjlighet att besöka den svarta lagunen och klippdalen, ändringar av resplanen kan göras utan förvarning beroende på väderförhållandena. Du kan också sova på olika platser beroende på tillgång till fordonet.

Fantastic full day tour organised by Banjo Tours. Our guide, Nadia Ponce Inturias, picked us up off our flight from La Paz and with the help of Zenon, our driver, dropped us off for the fabulous Todo Tourismo overnight bus back to La Paz. Nadia possessed an excellent command of English and was extremely knowledgeable regarding the geological history that formed the flats, the wildlife and vegetation. A red wine and cold meat surprise over sunset on the flats capped a memorable day. Thanks Nadia, Zenon, and Yanet in the Banjo Office for providing us with one of our best ever tourist experiences!!
A great day out on the Salt Flats. Guide was super friendly and helped take some of the great photos our group got.
The place is wonderful, with landscapes that look like from another planet. We all loved it, we took some beautiful pictures
My experience was unforgettable, it is a very adventurous place!! Our guide Juan was excellent, always willing to help. The only thing we didn't like was the hike to high heights, but it was worth it!!! The most beautiful thing is the water mirrors.
Surprising atmosphere, learning that it is a sea of salt for several km. really worth the trip. Fantastic landscape.
The driver was very very lazy and did not care. Guide was Just OK. The first half of the day was tour of slums and stops to get our $. Did not come all the way to uyuni to be driven around see their friends and try to take our $. Lunch was bad we didn’t eat it. Once we got to the salts flats it was beautiful. Do not take this tour!
Had a very knowledgeable guide that can tell you everything you want to know and more about the history of the area. Had some red wine and chips at sun down and got to see a great sunset with a reflection! Our guide refused to stop searching until we found the perfect spot to catch the sunset with a reflection which you don't always get to see due to rain and wind conditions being unfavorable.
They take you to several places in this huge expanse in 4x4 vans, with good photographers who take advantage of the reflection of the water and the orientation of the sun. Wear proper clothes, they give you the boots. Have fun in the middle of this magical and extraordinary place.
<p>Salt Flats were amazing. If you have the time, 3 day tour would be great to do with Red Planet. I only had time for the one day tour and the guides were awesome. Really fun and knowledgeable. The guide took us to a secluded area on the salt flats so we would be the only one in our pictures and spent so much time taking photos and had different ideas as to what we should do and try. Great day.</p>
