Great for new arrivals wanting to get the “lay of the land”. Gothenburg is a great walking city - best way to explore - in my opinion.

Unfortunately, our guide was not a "local". We didn't feel like he knew anything. He was striving and friendly, but nothing more. Definitely too expensive for that....

As much as it may be true that he was not born in Gothenburg, he is a local and has the local knowledge of a person living their daily lives in the city. I must add that this tour is provided by local people, hosts, not certified guides.
Very bad. The guy didn't know anything. Extremely overpriced. He knew nothing about the history of the city. He got facts wrong (he told us Sweden was catholic)

it was e very nice tour with the guide - i learnd lot of things about gothenburg - but - it´s strange "tour whith a local"...

After a very late request, the operator arranged for a knowledgeable and courteous guide to provide us with a snapshot of Gothenburg, Sweden. Yousseff described the city from the top of the fortress to the seaport and the reality of any growing city. He was very informative and a pleasure to meet.
