Ge dig ut på en halvdagstur för att visa Chiang Rais höjdpunkter. Börja din resa på det pulserande huvudmarknadsområdet, där lokal kultur blir levande. Därifrån kan du besöka Wat Phra Kaew, det historiska templet där den berömda Smaragdbuddhan upptäcktes 1434 e.Kr. innan den hittade sitt hem i Bangkok. Därefter beger du dig till Wat Doi Thong, känd för sina navelpelare och fantastisk panoramautsikt över Mae Kok-floden. Missa inte King Meng Rai Monument, som hedrar stadens grundare. Turen fortsätter till det ikoniska Wat Rong Khun, eller det "vita templet". Wat Phra That Doi Tung, eller Wat Phra Maha Chin That Chao, är ett tempel som ligger i Mae Sai County, Chiang Rai. Det byggdes antagligen under perioden av kung Achutharat av Yonoknakphan. Det är känt för att ha Lord Buddhas knivskyddsreliker, som transporterades direkt från Indien. Legenden säger, för cirka 1 000 år sedan, var Mahākāśyapa och kung Achutharat av Yonoknakphan, tillsammans med hans tjänare, folket som tappade relikerna till platsen.
Wat Rong Khun, kanske bättre känd för utlänningar som White Temple, är en privatägd konstutställning i stil med ett buddhisttempel i Chiang Rai-provinsen, Thailand. Det ägs av Chalermchai Kositpipat, som designade, konstruerade och öppnade den för besökare 1997
Wat Phra Kaew är ett kungligt tempel i Chiang Rai och en av de äldsta i staden. Även om det exakta året som Wat grundades inte är känt, går det åtminstone tillbaka till slutet av 1300-talet. Excellent tour. We enjoyed the White Temple and very much enjoyed the gallery museum there. We also enjoyed the city market and the Blue Temple.

Our tour guides were awesome! They took us to several different local temples and explained everything about them. They also took us to a local market and taught us a lot about the different food.
