Utflykt till Q'eswachaca Bridge - Grupptur

Turen till Qeswachaka Inca Bridge börjar med hämtning från ditt hotell från 04:30 till 05:00. Vi fortsätter en nästan två timmar lång resa genom södra Cusco och besöker de fyra lagunerna. Efter att ha njutit av en lugn stund nära lagunerna besöker vi den lilla vulkanen Pabellones, som ligger nära staden Yanaoca. Sedan kommer vi fram till den imponerande inkabron. Denna Inca-hängbro är gjord av växtfiber (Ichu) och ligger över floden Apurímac i distriktet Quehue. Existensen av denna bro går tillbaka till inkatiden. Renovering och underhåll utförs en gång om året av lokalbefolkningen från de fyra omgivande samhällena. Innan renoveringen av bron påbörjas ges ett erbjudande som ett tecken på respekt och tacksamhet till Pachamama. Vi kommer att ha möjlighet att korsa Inkabron på båda sidor. Men var försiktig, det verkar lätt, men det kräver mod.

Had a wonderful time on this tour. Americo was a great guide. Mostly in Spanish (I don't speak spanish) but it didnt take anything away from the experience. Would absolutely recommend to anyone coming to Cusco. Bring motion sickness meds if you are prone to feeling ill. It is a lot of driving on very curvy roads. I forgot my meds and regretted it.
A great experience, we got to know the culture of the people living in the region and learned about the process of manufacturing the bridge

I loved meeting Victor who was responsible for helping to organize the building of the bridge each year. We saw beautiful flamingos!
Wally was amazing! Cool trip - we got to see the how they made the bridge from scratch from one of the people who helps rebuild it every year. Also got to take part in a coca ritual to the nature to grant us safe passage across the bridge. It's a long journey to get to, but a pretty cool story to be able to tell - thank you Wally!

The landscapes of the route are very interesting, prepare the camera, if possible make a stop at the house of Tupac Amaru II
