Utflykt till Cafayate och Quebrada de las Conchas

Vi kommer att resa till staden Cafayate, solens och vinets land, som ligger i Calchaquí-dalen, 180 km från huvudstaden Salta, längs en av de mest imponerande och berömda vägarna i norra Argentina. Besök i provinsens vinodlingscentrum, korsar La Quebrada de Las Conchas. Erosion har bildat en rad naturliga underverk som La Garganta del Diablo, en djup, sluten kanjon. Amfiteatern (med perfekt naturlig akustik), Paddan, Friaren, Obelisken, Slotten. Lite i taget ersätts det torra landskapet av stora vidder av vingårdar tills det når en av de mest imponerande regionerna i Calchaquí-dalen: Cafayate, en stad med envåningshus med kolonial- och barockarkitektur från slutet av 1800-talet.

Besök i provinsens vinodlingscentrum, korsar La Quebrada de Las Conchas. Rutt: Nationell väg 68 (vinväg); Lerma Valley (Cerrillos, La Merced, El Carril, Coronel Moldes, La Viña (tekniskt stopp)
Erosion i regionen har bildat en rad naturliga underverk som Devil's Throat, en djup, sluten kanjon. Amfiteatern (med perfekt naturlig akustik). Paddan, Munken, Obelisken, Slotten. Så småningom ersätts det torra landskapet av stora vidder av vingårdar tills man når en av de mest framstående regionerna i Calchaquí-dalen: Cafayate, en stad med envåningshus mellan kolonial och barock från slutet av 1800-talet. Quebrada de las Conchas: Mer än 10 stopp vid mångfärgade formationer orsakade av vind- och vattenerosion som La Garganta del Diablo, El Anfiteatro, La Yesera, Las Ventanas, Los Castillos, etc.
I Cafayate kommer du att ha möjlighet att besöka en vingård och smaka på de bästa vinerna i området. Även om regionen alltid hänvisar till Torrontés, har platsen ett stort antal hektar dedikerade till röda druvor som Malbec, Tannat eller Cabernet Sauvignon.
Besök staden Cafayate och en vingård. Vi kommer att ha 2 timmar lediga i staden för att äta lunch och utforska. Stad med envåningshus mellan kolonial- och barockarkitektur från slutet av 1800-talet. (Lunch och dryck ingår INTE i priset)
Vi återvände till Salta genom Quebrada de las Conchas på Route 68, och gjorde de stopp vi missade på utresan och turnerade i detta vackra och unika landskap i Argentina.
Innan vi anländer till staden Salta gör vi ett tekniskt stopp i La Viña eller Talapampa för att köpa ett mellanmål eller gå på toaletten.

Our guide Jes was great she explained everything in a lot of detail in both Spanish and English, the views were breathtaking. However the bus did not have a functioning AC which made the trip unbearable, we also couldn't open all the windows so the temperature inside and the lack of air was horrid. Personally I also didn't care for the stop in the winery the guide there did her best to explain things in English but it wasn't very good. I understand Spanish and I booked this tour for the Quebrada so it didn't matter to me but if you are interested in that part be aware they don't really speak English.
Tour is great, the Canyon is beautiful and wineries on the other side is interesting as well Tour is done with care, pick up on time. All information is equally in Spanish and English, and the guide takes care so everyone feels good. Van was comfortable, seats had head support The drive is quite long, but road and driver is good. We left salta around 8 and returned around 7-9 as well

Terrible experience on the Tour to Cafayate with Quebrada Turismo which I booked with Getyourguide. Terrible communication with the company. They kept me waiting almost an hour for the pickup. When I informed the guide (Martín) that they had been delayed for a long time, he told me that he is only the guide, that the complaints go to getyourguide or Quebrada Turismo. Martín got all rude because I had complained about the delay in picking up. The visit to the winery is only in Spanish so for those who speak only English it is not worth doing it. The tour doesn't stop in all the viewing points mentioned (only in 4 of them). You just drive and see them as you pass The tour guide Martín was sitting adelites in the van reading the "script" only what we were seeing, little interaction with us. In short, terrible professionalism of the guide Martín and the Quebrada Turismo company
