Nu kan du gå i 225 000 sjömäns fotspår på en självguidad ljudtur berättad av tidigare Midway-sjömän och officerare. USS Midway innehåller även interaktiva utställningar och klättringsflygplan för alla åldrar. Missa inte flygsimulatorer, presentbutik och café. Upplev hur det var att vara en del av en "stad till sjöss", utforska galärer, officersland, sovhytter och maskinrummet på det första flottfartyget som var för stort för Panamakanalen! Informative and breathtaking
The amazing history of the USS Midway, the sacrifices made by the 200,000 plus seamen who served on board, the complexities of operations.. every civilian needs to taje this tour to appreciate what pir Navy does .

It is a must do tour.
Be prepared to walk a lot. You should be aware it is going to take you about 4 to 5 hours to see the whole thing. It was so breath taking how this whole city works. It was so amazing the size of this aircraft.

Must-visit USS Midway No. 2
We were there for the second time. The atmosphere is unique and you can spend hours below or on the deck and get information about the ship and the aircraft. Volunteers can be found everywhere who are extremely friendly and helpful and are very happy to take the time to explain things. The tour in the command center is absolutely recommended. We also found what we were looking for in the shop below deck and took home some great souvenirs. For me, an absolute must-visit when you are in San Diego. Our son, 5 years old, enjoyed it thoroughly and had a lot of fun during the visit, just like we did.

Great day out
Amazing experience, seeing the aircraft of different generations. Very poignant watching battle of midway film, and enjoyed looking at different areas below deck to show what life was like. Radio explanations for each area was really helpful and the trip to the bridge well worth it. The docents were incredibly knowledgeable-thoroughly enjoyed the trip. We were there for 4.5 hours and didn't see everything. If we weren't leaving the next morning we would have gone back.

Great experience to be on a massive ship. Audio about the various displays was very informative. Tours through the ship a must. Great day

Great museum
We were on vacation and made the drive to San Diego to visit the midway. We had a fun visit and enjoyed everything we saw. The ship is very large and has a lot to see so make a day of it. The planes were great as well as seeing the way our military lives on this floating city. The volunteers are amazing and answer all your questions. This is a must if visiting the area

A must see
Both my spouse and I are Navy brats, my father retired after 25 years so reliving the smells and of course the mess hall was a blast. I appreciate all the volunteers and effort they have done to keep this amazing ship as well as the history of not just the Midway but so much more.
