Alertness not good enough. Our group visited this temple. The tour guide, Ms Desi Melinda, repeated warnings about staying alert when the monkeys are around I had a bad experience when one of the monkeys grabbed my spectacles. The monkey warden has a way to get the culprit monkey to give up my spectacles for a reward. I got my spectacles back but damage was done beyond economic repair. My spare pair of spectacles was a dark pair meant for sunshine. Lesson learnt is to keep the spare spectacles as a standard pair and not one with dark lenses.

An amazing experience with a lot of history and tradition. Surya was an excellent guide assisting me with steps, history of temple and ensuring I was safe from the cheeky monkeys. The Kecak fire dance was so different from anything I'd ever experienced. It was good to receive a piece of paper explaining the dance, choir and characters. You can find ancient carvings of the characters as you travel around Bali too. Surya then took me to a special seafood evening meal at Jimbaran Beach to celebrate my birthday. A perfect day.

Dharma was such a fantastic guide. The whole day from pick up through to drop off ran so smoothly because of him. We were fortunate enough to just sit back and take in the sights. The car ride was long but went quickly as we heard about the culture and history of Bali from dharma, upon arrival we were told what to expect. He organised ticket purchases, water, led us through the temple while telling us the history and translating any signs, took great photos and was easy to find after the show. Cant recommend him and this trip enough if you’re looking for a fun day out

Our driver and guide, Dharma was great, super informative, easy going and kind. The temple had stunning views and lots of picture opportunities. Again, our guide was great and took photos for us while chatting about the history. Made the day run very smoothly and all we had to do was turn up and enjoy

Excellent experience while in Bali! Dharma was a great driver and tour guide. He picked us up on time and explained the heritage and religion of the Balinese people in-depth. He managed everything seamlessly for us, from parking, to the tickets, to seeing the temple and keeping the monkeys away. Follow dircetons...do not wear hats or glasses and keep you cell phone away. The show was amazing. Dharma was able to get is into the first show, which was great with the sunset in the background. He quickly go4 us out of the traffic jam with both people and cars/busses.
