Santa Monica-munkturen är vår första resa till soliga södra Kalifornien. Denna turné firar allt som rör munkar, solsken och kul på stranden. Vår turné börjar på en kalifornisk institution, Randy's Donuts. Du kanske känner till Randy's från deras många framträdanden på tv, filmer och musikvideor, speciellt för deras ikoniska jättemunk. Efter att vi har provat några av deras fantastiska klassiker, går vi vidare till vår nästa plats, Sidecar Doughnuts. Om du letar efter fantastiska, hantverksmässiga munkar - du har kommit till rätt ställe. Vår tredje plats är ett lite oväntat stopp, men fortfarande i huvudsak Kalifornien för churros. Och vårt sista stopp kan ändras beroende på gruppen eller vädret, så vi kommer inte att förstöra överraskningen, men de två alternativen vi har valt ut är båda lika fantastiska.

The experience was super fun. We got to try so many different treats and our tour guide Chad and was amazing.

What an awesome time! The donuts were delicious and Chad was an amazing tour guide! He was very friendly and personable, not to mention patient as after our second donut stop our 4 & 6 year olds were jumping off the walls from the sugar. Highly recommend to anyone who loves Donuts!

I had a great time with our tour guide Mike. He was very knowledgeable. My favorite donut place on the tour was Sidecar donuts because the flavor was really good and very cake like. My second favorite place was Papis churros. The fillings were very unique. The last place I loved was McConnell's ice cream. They had really good ice cream. The tour had a great variety of dessert choices and was excellent, I recommend you do it.

Our family of 5 joined Chad for our donut, churro, and ice cream tour. Chad is a lively and fun personality. He was easily able to keep us entertained between stops and with the other family of 2 that joined us. Chad shared background about each stop and was well prepared with gloves to handle the food, a cutting board, bench scrapper to cut the donuts/churros, napkins, and hand sanitizer. He also shared knowledge about the area as we walked between each business. Each place had wonderful options making it hard to narrow down to just 2-3 donuts per place. The churros were made fresh while we sat outside and the ice cream was so delicious. At the churro location, they had Mexican Cokes which we had to try. Suggestions, bring water, wear sunscreen, wear comfortable walking shoes (the walk is easy), sunglasses, and a hat if you like.

The tour was absolutely fantastic! We got to travel around to historic donut places all over Santa Monica and our tour guide was so interactive, and we learned so much about the history of donut places in Santa Monica! Some of our favorite donuts were sidecar’s huckleberry doughnut, and Randy’s lemon glaze doughnut. I would highly recommend for a family activity on the weekends. It is an amazing walking experience.
