Kleine Knip är en strand som ligger på den västra sidan av ön, mellan byarna Westpunt och Lagún, 50 minuters bilresa från Willemstad. Det är en liten strand, som ligger vid en vik mellan klippor. Det finns bara ett fåtal faciliteter. Vid denna strand kommer vi att stanna för ett kort dopp om du vill och du kommer också att ha möjlighet att uppleva andra stränder i närheten
Caracasbaai Road är en livlig gata med många affärer och restauranger. Det är fullt upp med människor som kommer och går. På senare år har även många foodtrucks slagit sig ned där. Halvvägs denna långa väg österut finns också ett litet köpcentrum med alla möjliga affärer och matställen. Denny's är en populär kedja som har bosatt sig där. Vägen leder till exklusiva stadsdelar som Jansofat, Zuurzak, Brakkeput, Vista Royal och Jan Thiel. En anmärkningsvärd attraktion inom detta område är Fort Bekenburg, ett fort med anor från 1600-talet. Den är fritt tillgänglig för visning. Att vara från fortet är utsikten spektakulär. Längre fram kör du även förbi Bayabeach och en strand där den populära bogserbåten ligger under vattnet. Detta är definitivt det vackraste området för snorkling på ön.

Had a wonderful day with Dennis. He took us to the things we specifically wanted to see (Hato Caves and Flamingo) and took us to those special places that only a local would know. Lunch location was spectacular; food was great, entertainment was provided by tourists jumping off the cliff where the restaurant was located. And we got to see green sea turtles close up.
Dennis was such a great guide. He took us all around his country. We loved learning about Curacao from a local. He took us to a lunch spot where the food was great and the view was amazing! Thanks Dennis (aka Victor 😆)!
Dennis did a wonderful job showing us major locations on the island as well as some hidden away gems. We got to see both the city and the countryside of Curaçao while hearing about the history and culture of the island. He also took us to a great small beach that was absolutely fantastic! If you have a chance to book Dennis - do it!
If we could give Dennis more than 5 stars, we absolutely would. My husband and I booked a private 2-day experience in Curaçao, and it was hands down one of the best tours we’ve ever taken. From the moment he picked us up at Kontiki Beach and later at the Art Hotel, everything was seamless, professional, and perfectly curated. Day 1 was the ultimate west side beach experience. We relaxed at stunning Cas Abao Beach, explored the dramatic coastline at Shete Boka National Park, enjoyed a delicious local lunch, and ended the afternoon at beautiful Kokomo Beach. Dennis built in scenic stops along the way and never rushed us. We could linger where we wanted and move on when we were ready. Day 2 gave us a deeper cultural experience. We explored the east side of the island, visited Landhuis Chobolobo (home of Blue Curaçao), had an authentic local lunch at Plasa Bieu, and spent time walking, taking in the murals and history. He even helped us plan our dinner at Cascada to enjoy the fireworks that evening. Had a great time with Dennis and a day we will never forget. Got us quickly to the spots that we wanted to see and showed us some cool things along the way. He is a great hang. Easy to talk to, fun and you can tell a great guy that wants to make sure you have a great time. If we ever make it back to Curacao (hope we do), I will for sure be reaching out to Dennis. Dennis was simply amazing and made me feel very comfortable as a solo female traveler. This tour was flexible in allowing me to choose points of interest to visit, and communication beforehand was perfect. Dennis showed me around the whole island, shared local history and art, and stopped at the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen. I got to snorkel with sea turtles, and even enjoyed some homemade coconut bread from a local vendor. Curacao was truly an unforgettable experience thanks to Dennis! I would book this tour again in a heartbeat!!
My husband and I had an absolute fantastic day. This was our 1st time booking a private tour type excursion for ourselves. We had the privilege of being shown around Curacao by Joaquin and Danielle. They were so knowledgeable about the island. History, art, food, outdoor markets, shopping, hidden gems and most of all amazing snorkeling beaches. I could not be more happy that this is what we chose for our day on Curacao. Do yourself a favor and book this excursion! If I could give Dennis more than 5 stars, I would! He was absolutely amazing! Prompt on time, picked us up at our resort (Sandals). We got to tailor our day to the specifics we wanted to see. We wanted to see the culture of the island and learn the history. He took us through the towns so we could see the neighborhoods. We went to downtown Willemstad and saw everything! All the iconic spots, all the art, the hidden gems. It was magical. Then we took a drive to the west side of the island for the most amazing seafood lunch on the water. The food was absolutely incredible!! We did a few more iconic stops on the way back before he delivered us back to our resort. Dennis is extremely knowledgeable, easy to talk to and a lot of fun. He is also takes great pictures for you!! Overall, we had a wonderful day with him and the tour was exactly what we were looking for!
Dennis was an incredible tour guide for our port day in Curacao! He gave us easy to follow instructions for where to meet him after getting off the ship. Once we met him, he got us to everything we wanted to see and more! He knew the best times to go to certain areas of the island, and had lots of historical info to share along the way. We had an excellent day with Dennis, and would highly recommend booking with him. We saw Hato Caves, the distillery, an abandoned fort, the "Curacao" sign, the moving bridge, and countless other beautiful stops that the large bus tours just can't get to. Don't hesitate, just book the private tour - you won't regret it!
