Vi börjar den underjordiska rundturen i Rom med en resa utanför Aurelian Walls och nedför den antika Appian Way till Katakomberna i Rom. När du återvänder till den historiska stadskärnan kommer din reseförare att följa med dig på ett besök i Capuchin Crypt, även känd som "Bone Church". Få attraktioner i Rom kan tävla med denna underjordiska krypta skapad av kapucinerbröderna med hjälp av tusentals ben från sina medmunkar för att dekorera väggar och tak. Vad du kommer att se: S:t Callixtus katakomber, den antika basilikan San Clemente och Capuchin-kryptan.

I Santa Cecilias familjs länder, musikkonstens beskyddare, har Saint Callistos katakomber en ungefärlig radie på 24 kilometer. Den besökta delen har olika krypter tillägnade påvar och martyrer.
I anslutning till kyrkan finns Cappuccini-brödernas museum och krypta värd för kvarlevorna av många bröder. Komplexet innehåller dock mycket intressanta skulpturer och målningar från de olika åldrarna av detta brödraskap, fram till 1630 (vilket är det datum då den första mässan hölls i kyrkan)

We essentially paid $800 for a taxi service for 3. No tickets were included. Just get an Uber and book directly.

In all fairness, the amount mentioned, includes Viator booking fees which are an applied percentage that is added to our rate in Euros, not to mention the currency conversion. And I do believe you were actually 4 participants, not 3. To make sure our guests are aware of what this particular tour includes and how long it is, we provide a clear description so to avoid any misunderstandings. We appreciate your feedback, we do not consider ourselves a "LOW COST" tour operator. Our rates reflect the type of quality service we are accustomed to provide and our very high standards. There are indeed many other cheaper options, although I highly doubt the type of accommodations would be the same. We hired a private driver through TripAdvisor to take us on our tour. Our tour through the catacombs was so interesting! Everyone really enjoyed it. The history behind the catacombs was very fascinating. Then we went to the St. John of Lateran Church and it was gorgeous! The last stop on this tour was a the Capuchin Church where we toured the museum and the crypt. The Crypt was one of the coolest things we saw on our trip to Rome and we highly recommend it to everyone! Our driver Marco was very nice and informative. We were not allowed to take pictures in the catacombs or the crypt.
