Gå under jorden på en 1 - timmars promenad historia turné genom Seattles ursprungliga stadsdel. Våra erfarna guider leder små grupper över och under Pioneer Square till gatuplanet som fanns på 1890-talet. Utforska underjordiska vägar som byggdes för mer än 120 år sedan, lär dig detaljer om Seattles tidiga historia, varför dessa utrymmen byggdes och hur de har använts (och missbrukats) under åren. Förundras över hur denna tidigare tidvattenslägenhet sedan dess har förvandlats till en av de 20 största städerna i USA.

Under gatorna fokuseras på faktuell historisk information som beskriver födelsen av vår stad, 1890s arkitektur och flera andra berättelser, inklusive Klondike Gold Rush, Skid Row, och Coast Salish Peoples som först bebodde området. Våra reseguider deltar i workshops om kulturella traditioner och historia med speciella gästhistoriker och indianstammen som kontinuerlig yrkesutveckling.
Vi täcker fyra stadsdelar av historiska Pioneer Square och utforska tre underjordiska gångar som ursprungligen byggdes på 1890-talet. Du kommer att se och höra grannskapets historia från både de ursprungliga och nuvarande gatunivåerna.

Our guide is knowledgeable and humorous. Very professional throughout, even with a trying preteen who pushed the patience of all. The underground is underwhelming as it is a series of basements with an interesting history that isn't really visible. I attended another tour many years ago which featured actual storefronts and an opium den. I suppose they are closed up unsafe now.
I learned so much about the history of Seattle on this trip. The guide keeps you engaged throughout the tour. The tour is also not physically demanding and friendly to people of all ages :)

Interesting history of the city beginnings
Really interesting tour, understanding more about the city and how it developed. Our tour guide was the best - Jim, what a character, he made the tour so much better, his knowledge of the city was brilliant but his style of delivery and personality shone through making it so much better. Well worth a visit and if you are lucky enough to get Jim it will be even better.

It was a nice walking tour, but it was not named correctly. I expected to see the more of the underground Seattle and we spent a lot of time looking at different places in Pioneer Square. So if you’re gonna say you’re gonna do a tour beneath the streets, then do a tour beneath the streets or call it Seattle walking tour.
