Ett av Balis ikoniska tempel som ligger vid sjön i Beratan, Ulun Danu Beratan-templet ligger på höglandet i den berömda Bedugul-regenten i norra Bali. På grund av templets placering på toppen av en sjö används själva templet för att erbjuda ceremonier för gudinnan till vatten, sjöar och floder, känd som Dewi Danu. Därför är sjön Beratan en av de viktiga sjöarna på Bali när det gäller bevattning, särskilt i risfält och plantager. Att göra här är en paddling, en guidad tur på en kanot och sightseeing av bergen.
En annan Balis ikoniska tempel gör det till UNESCO: s världsarvslista 2002 är Taman Ayun Royal Temple. Templet byggdes av den tidigare kungen av Mengwi-regenten 1634 e.Kr. Had a great day, albeit in the rain. Saw the sights that we wanted to see at a relaxed pace and had nice lunch next to the rice fields. Bawa was knowledgeable and looked after us all day.

Ulun Danu Beratan Temple Completely in love with this place 🤍 It’s so peaceful and scenic that you can easily spend a lot of time here. The temple, lake, and surrounding mountains create a stunning view. Truly feels like Bali’s most peaceful postcard 📸 A must-visit spot in Bali.

Great experience, beautiful temple. Bawa was an excellent driver and guide. The roads were not great and distance to the temple from our hotel was a long distance but Bawa made it easier with his knowledge of the area and used short cuts to safe us some time. The ride was comfortable and clean.

Yudi was a great guide. Crazy morning traffic in Denpasar. Helped with photos. Told alot obout life and culture in Bali. Got us to rice fields in mountains despite rain. Found his way to beautiful temple on lake and explained story of it. Stopped by coffee & mangosteen farm and shop to sample/ buy, a special request. Got us home quickly and passed by shopping areas we will go to another day. Great trip.
