Maria introduced us to the neighbourhood of Triana and we tried a number of tapas I wouldn't have ordered on my own. I am temporarily using a mobility device because of an injury and the guide was very accommodating.

The tour with Paula was very informative and interesting. As a matter of fact we went to try the restaurant today (Monday) unfortunately it was closed. We were going to take her suggestions on how to order their house specials. As you can tell, we had a good experience and wanted to repeat it.

Our tour guide was a lovely lady.Very friendly and knowledgeable.Made us feel comfortable straight away. Great choice if you want to go where the locals go and not all the touristy places.Also great communication regarding having to change date. I would recommend this tour.

We booked the ugly delicious tour, but the tour operator wanted to reschedule our tour from Saturday to Monday, we could not go Monday because we were leaving town, they then offered us a different experience, which was sangria and tapas, in hind sight we should have asked more questions and cancelled but we didn’t. This experience I’m sure is great if you are a couple or group of friends in the summer and really enjoy sugary sangria, as they have a nice terrace, but it is quite windy and cold in the winter, so we sat inside, it was still chilly inside. So unlike the tour we sat in one a characterless room with our kids, trying to enjoy very basic cold tapas (cheese, olives, salchicon, a tiny tortilla, and a tiny plate of paella) and sangrias. Much different than the tour we booked. I think the nail that sealed the coffin was the last tapa, paella. My husband is of Spanish and Cuban descent, we have had our share of paella. We received about 1/2 cup portion maybe less of reheated paella, there was neither meat nor fish in it, and the rice was not cooked properly. I requested a partial refund explaining our disappointment but was denied.

You were never obliged to join a different activity. The original tour could not run with only two participants — a condition clearly communicated. You were informed that the tour would be cancelled unless additional reservations were made. At that point, you were offered the option to cancel with a full refund or to switch to a different experience. You chose to accept the alternative activity after being fully informed of what it included and how it differed from the original tour. Regarding the food, all tapas and sangrias served matched the exact menu described for this experience. This is not — and was never advertised as — the “Ugly Delicious Tour,” but a different activity you voluntarily agreed to attend. As for the paella, our chefs specialize in rice dishes and prepare paella following traditional Spanish standards. The texture of authentic paella rice is frequently misunderstood by visitors who expect something closer to Latin-American or Caribbean styles of rice. The version you received was freshly made, properly cooked, and in line with the portion sizes and format of a tapa, not a full meal. This was explained to you before the tasting. For all these reasons, and because you attended the activity in full after accepting the change, a partial refund could not be granted. We take feedback seriously, but we also believe it is essential to provide accurate information so that future guests can make well-informed decisions. Regards,

Fabio was a great guide, who told us not just about food but about the city, it's history and the way of life in Sevilla. We could have spend all day listening to him! The food was so nice that afterwards it was difficult to find food just as nice... We became spoiled! He was very kind, like a friend who shows you around. We were a group of 8 women and felt very comfortable with him.

It was a good experience, we learned small historic facts about the place we were visiting. A very friendly and caring guide, and a nice group of people. Just thought we would have a bit more ugly foods to savour, but for a starter it was very good and opened our appetite for more food. Good recommendations, actually going to visit the market today and buy some spices!!
