Udong Mountain och Silk Island
Beskrivning
Du kan välja antingen Tuk-Tuk eller Luftkonditionering Minivan. Upphämtningstiden är ungefär kl. 08.00 från hotellet och slutar runt 16.00. Kör ca 45kms / 1 timme på riksväg 5 till Udong Mountain först på morgonen för att undvika det varma vädret. Väl framme kommer du att ledas av Guiden för att utforska toppen av berget ca 2 timmar med promenader upp och ner från norr till söder. Efter det kommer du att besöka Kambodjas största buddhistiska centrum som ligger bredvid foten. Där borta kommer du att gå med föraren ungefär en timme. Det är en bra idé att ta med snacks eftersom lunch kommer att vara kl 13:00 på Silk Island vid floden med fantastisk utsikt. På vägen till Silk Island kommer du att korsa Tonle Sap floden med bro och behöver korsa Mekong floden med färjan. Att besöka en sidengård är verkligen intressant också med odlingen längs vägen. Denna tur ingår alla entréavgifter, vatten och båtcross förklarar också vid varje stopp.

Gå upp och ner ca 2 timmar för att se Fem olika platser på toppen av berget. Det finns många historier att berätta. Tuk-Tuk-chauffören följer också med dig upp.
Här kommer vi att vandra inne i anläggningen när vi inte kan köra på meditationsplatserna. Denna plats är verkligen bra att lära sig om buddhism och ta bra foto av berg och tempel byggnader och fin trädgård.
För att åka till Silk Island måste vi ta en färja som korsar Mekong floden ca 10minutes. när vi anländer dit stannar vi på en lokal restaurang för lunch med en fantastisk utsikt över Mekong floden. Efter det kör man runt i byn och ser sedan inne på sidengården med Guiden. Lunch ingår ej.

I went on three tours with Mr Sop. I did the kickboxing one, silk island and a tuktuk to the killing fields. Mr Sop is very knowledgeable and tells great stories to explain the history and culture of Cambodia. I had an early flight and Mr Sop helped organise a quick tour of the killing fields so I could see it before I left at a very good price. Highly recommend especially if you need to tailor the tour to your plans

Mr. Sop was by far the best guide we had during our stay. He took us to amazing places like Udong Mountain and the Buddhist temples of Vipassana Dhurak, and between each stop, he shared fascinating Khmer myths and legends, the country’s history, and its culture—with plenty of humor and good spirits. He was incredibly attentive, making sure we were comfortable and even providing snacks and drinks throughout the tour. Furthermore he is a great photographer 😉 We can’t recommend Mr. Sop enough for anyone wanting to truly experience the beauty of this country!
