Ucluelet hamntur

Beskrivning

The location for the tour starts at 115 Seaplane Base Rd, Ucluelet NOT at 200 Hemlock Street that the Viator booking sent us to. Fortunately we still got there in time for the start. Matthew looked after us really well, especially my partially sighted wife. He is knowledgeable and interesting and had plenty of information to impart.
We have connected with Viator and updated the address and glad to hear Matthew took such great care of you on your tour. Thank you for joining us and we hope the rest of your travels are as memorable
I highly recommend the half day tour for pristine, quiet and enjoyable kayaking in calm coastal waters. The abundance of coastal Flora and fauna will surround you together with thoughts of the First Nations communities past and present. My guide Matthew was knowledgeable and professional, observing the safety and wellbeing of the group. The gear used and instructions were thorough, therefore my paddling experiance was very enjoyable.
Excellent tour with guide Rina. We had a private tour and Rina spotted a mamma bear with two playing cubs. We spotted them from very close and for more than one hour on the beach and in the trees. Also we saw a bold eagle from very close. This made it a top kayak safari experience! Highly recommended!
We've never kayaked before. So it was an experience for us. We were happy to be able to paddle in calm waters. Everything was explained to us well and we felt safe. We have seen colorful starfish, oysters and waterfowl. Wasn’t really important to us, though, because it was about the experience of kayaking.
It was absolutely amazing! The experience was very relaxing, and our tour guide was both friendly and patient. The kayaks are well-equipped with spray skirts and adjustable fins, making it super easy for beginners and even kids to handle. The only suggestion I have is to provide binoculars or remind attendees to bring their own. Since we were encouraged by the guide to keep a distance from wildlife, it was sometimes hard to see the animals clearly from the shore. Overall, a wonderful and enjoyable tour—I highly recommend it!
Guide didn't actually turn up for our trip. Beware. Pretty angry as completely wasted day. No reply to phone calls or emails
Thank you for your feedback. We understand how frustrating it can be not to get on the water as planned. We reached out through the booking platform to inform you of the cancellation based on the morning weather forecast, which turned out to be inaccurate. We sincerely apologize for not being available by phone that day; we were managing an evacuation and assisting a staff member who required emergency surgery. Once we were back in the office, we attempted to reschedule via email. We hope you enjoy the rest of your holiday!
Very mellow trip round the harbour in kayaks. Great to see the coastline from the water. Two lovely guides. Spotted a bald eagle.
Enjoyed our time. Tal was fantastic to chat with about the harbour. Wish we had booked the group island tour though as I was really hoping to see more critters. Highly Recommend this business these guys were great!
We enjoyed the trip around the harbour but it was a little too slow and didn’t cover a great distance. We saw the head of a seal in the water and an eagle but nothing else We were a little underwhelmed Our guides were lovely though and the gear was good.
We did a day kayaking tour to George Fraser Island with Hello Nature. Our guides Mick and Vince were wonderful - super knowledgeable about the area and they made sure the routes were best suited for our abilities. Equipment, lunch, gear - everything was top quality and extremely well planned out. We saw seals, bald eagles, jelly fish and deer along our tour. We had a fantastic time! Highly recommend Hello Nature to anyone planning to explore coastal BC.
