På denna tur kommer du att uppleva mayacivilisationens storhet samtidigt som du är på de viktigaste arkeologiska platserna i El Salvador, San Andres och Tazumal. Samtidigt kommer du att ha en förbindelse med naturen att komma in i Cerro Verde nationalpark. På lördagar och söndagar har vi möjlighet att besöka UNESCO världsarvet Joya de Ceren, känt som Pompeji of the Americas.

När vi besöker Cerro Verde nationalpark tar vi en promenad på cirka 45 minuter, där vi kommer att njuta av ett trevligt väder, frisk luft och en fantastisk utsikt över f Santa Ana, vulkanerna i Izalco och Coatepequesjön
Tazumal, en av de viktigaste arkeologiska platserna i landet, bestående av 13 strukturer, varav en är en 24 meter hög pyramid
San Andrés arkeologiska park är en av de största pre-spansktalande centra i El Salvador och skulle ha bildat ett regionalt huvudstad mellan 600 och 900 A.D. i den sena klassiska perioden, period som vänder sig till Mayas civilisation.

Definitely worth seeing if you’re in the area. Safe and comfortable ride to the sites. The lunch stop was great. Driver/guide was full of useful information.

This tour was a wonderful experience. My guide Gerson was absolutely amazing. He is so knowledgeable and shared the history and culture in an engaging way. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone interested in history or archaeology.
We did two different tours with this tour company. One was a city tour and Boqueron plus the Mayan sites. These were basically private tours and our guide Gerson was very knowledgeable, accommodating and organized. These would have been much harder to do alone and we would have missed so much information. The day was well planned, moved at a good pace and time to stop and recharge for food. They picked us up directly at our hotel and followed the itinerary. Would strongly recommend and shout out to Gerson for a great time!

Alfredo Diaz left a lasting impression on the fantastic culture of El Salvador, as well as giving us an appreciation for the history of the country and the legacy left behind by the Mayan culture. This trip truly shows you the beauty of the area with scenic routes, picturesque walks, and there is plenty of time to rest and souvenir shop. The food was amazing, the engagement during the tour was fantastic, and if you only spend one day in San Salvador, you should do this tour.
