Ät som en lokalbo och upplev den eviga staden som en riktig romare på detta unika mat- och historieäventyr med mer än 15 gourmetmat- och vinprovningar. En romersk arkeolog guidar dig genom stadens gömda pärlor under en ”vandrande aperitif”. På Campo de Fioris smala gator börjar vi med en typisk romersk aperitif. Efter skålen kommer vi att fördjupa oss i den romerska gatumatens värld, smaka pizza "al taglio" i ett gammalt bageri som öppnade 1880 och sedan en riktig supplì i en av de sista familjedrivna "friggitoria", där familjen arbetar sedan 1860. Här kommer vi att para ihop supplì med en öl och en överraskning! Vi kommer sedan att flytta in i en unik lokal: en traditionell butik där en familj erbjuder ost och kallskuret som produceras på deras gård strax utanför Rom. Och självklart finns det ingen aperitif utan lite gott vin! Vi kommer att avsluta vår ”vandrande romerska aperitif” med en ”sweet touch” (ingen spoiler!), i området Piazza Navona, en av de vackraste torgen i Rom

Ät som en lokal, känner dig som en romare med oss på detta unika kvälls äventyr, upptäcker Romas historiska centrum utanför de misshandlade banorna :) Mer än 15 mat och vinprovningar, alla "krydda" med berättande av vår stad, historia och arkeologiska hemligheter. Vi kommer bli vänner som dricker den typiska romerska "aperitivo" i en historisk bar som ägs av samma familj sedan 150 år och jag kommer att vägleda dig som en italiensk foodie-arkeolog, upptäcka dolda hörn och spår av 2000 års historia. I de smala gatorna i Campo de Fiori kommer vi att upptäcka en fantastisk Cannolo
vi kommer att ha en exklusiv tillträde till den senaste traditionella familjen mataffären i området, paring olika ostar och salami med ett lokalt vin Vi kommer att få en glimt av den romerska gatemat, med pizza "al taglio" i ett gammalt bageri som öppnades 1880 och än vi sitter ner till middag på en mysig restaurang med en traditionell bruschetta och den bästa Carbonara i stan, kokad av en Michelin Star Chef.
Vi kommer att sluta med en rostat bröd på en hemlagad limoncello, skapad med kärlek och passion och med en oförglömlig Tiramisù under en av de vackraste fontänerna i Rom: D

We are traveling with another couple and we booked this walking eating tour with Greta. She took us to 4 different small local places for amazing food and drinks. She is an archeologist and history student so she provided us with very interesting information about Rome and Italy as well as the food and drinks. She pointed out meaningful landmarks and architecture. We really enjoyed this experience- would highly recommend!!
We had Gulia (or Gulianna, sorry if I got her name wrong!) who was incredibly friendly and wonderful! Loved that she took us to places we would not have known about as foreigners! Gave a great history and fun facts about the food and the families who ran the places. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Rome!
This was a well crafted food tour with interesting history along the way as well...Our guide was a well decorated archeologist! We left this tour feeling like we wanted to do a food tour in every city we went to, we can only hope our future guides are as good. Each stop was happy to interact with us as tourists and they were even more thrilled to share their passion for these slightly more niche italian specialties. The Cheese/Meat guy was Fantastic! Make sure you get the pistachio nutella!
Greta was lovely tour guide, so knowledgeable and interesting! Highly recommend taking this tour early in your Roman experience so that you can get a foodie “lay of the land”.
Start your visit to Rome with THIS twilight historical and food tour. A three hour history and gastronomic experience second to none. We learnt such interesting and quirky facts, and tasted food from generational family food stores so ingrained in Roman society they don’t even have the eatery name outside! My advice, book this tour if you are visiting Rome.
This gave a really good understanding of the ingredients in italian cooking and the whole experience of eating the italian way. It was both entertaining and educational at the same time as introducing us to areas of Rome that were new to us. (Probably of less interest to best people beloe age 16.)

On my first night in Rome, I did the Roma Eat Twilight tour, and it got my vacation off to a fabulous start. Our guide was delightful and brimming with enthusiasm for her city. All the food we sampled was amazing, especially the carbonara pasta and the cannoli. After the tour, she sent us a list of dozens of restaurants to try, which I really appreciated!
My first trip to Rome. I am so glad I did this tour. Our guide was so friendly and informative. The stories and information was so addicting to listen to. We had great tasting of so much that Rome and Italy has to offer. What a variety. We visited unique and famous places. We heard background historical stories. So many beautiful sites. The group had good conversations. I went home satisfied with food and drink and talk. A memorable experience!
Thanks to the nice, friendly and superprofessional Chiara we could live a unique experience (pity a little rain ..) of various tastings in the alleys of Rome. Highly recommended!
