Fördjupa dig i naturen. Pillones-vattenfallet utmärker sig för sin skönhet eftersom det har ett enormt vattenfall, omgivet av dussintals stenar formade av erosion av vatten och tid. På samma sätt kommer Puruñas stenskog att överraska oss med sin uppsättning naturliga stenpelare som ser ut som en mystisk förtrollad och förstenad skog.

Vårt äventyr börjar klockan 06:00. med vår mötesplats på stora torget eller på ditt hotell om det ligger i den historiska stadskärnan. Denna resa har som första mål staden Pampa de Arrieros, en mycket viktig station för de resenärer som anlände med tåg till den vackra Vita staden. (inkluderar restid från Arequipa)
Vi kommer att göra ett stopp i Pampa Cañahuas där vi kommer att se vicuñas bakom Misti-vulkanen. Vi kommer omedelbart fram till Patahuasi, en plats där du kan äta frukost eller dricka Andean mate för att acklimatisera dig.
Vi börjar vår resa i 1 timme för att nå nedstigningsplatsen i 20 minuter tills vi når vattenfallet Pillones (det är också möjligt att se det från toppen). Vi kommer att behöva gå nerför en stenig sluttning mycket försiktigt, och en tur längs sidan av en flod innan vi når det vackra vattenfallet, där vi kan ta alla fotografier vi vill under vår 45-minuters vistelse.
Vi kommer att genomföra vår expedition för att nå Imatas stenskog, vars geologiska formationer av sten som eroderats av vatten erbjuder ett landskap av den här världen. Vi kommer sedan att njuta av lunch på en lokal restaurang innan vi återvänder till Arequipa, och avslutar vår turné kl. 16:00 nära Plaza de Armas i stadens centrum.

The places we visited were phenomenal, we had an amazing time, with spectacular views. The breakfast and food restaurant was good, the staff's attention super good. The only thing is the guide, since he got on the truck he had an unkind attitude, he was like fed up or unwilling, his attention focused on those who spoke English, who were few since most of us were Spanish speakers. If the tour hadn't come the guide would have been the same.

We had a very nice time on the walk to the Falls and the Stone Forest. Our Sophia Guide knew everything about the area, and knew how to answer all our questions. We would have liked to spend more time in the impressive Stone Forest but the possibility of rain was rushing us (we went in January, rainy season) Recommendation: Wearing adaptable clothes is very hot and very cold. Wear layers. Comfortable shoes. Keep in mind that the walk includes hikes and activity at the height, you have to be prepared. The descent to the cataract is steep, requiring a little physical fitness. Medium level of effort. It is totally worth it for the beautiful views.

Good communication with the guide at all times to find mobility and also attentive to the group on the way in case any had altitude sickness. The hikes are short but challenging for those who for the first time do this type of adventure like me, but the scenery was spectacular!
Worthwhile tour, nice driver and guide. It was very Informative and the stone forest was a hit for us. Be aware the tour is at pretty high altitude.
Tour entertaining, the hikes are short, but steep, so it is advisable to go with hiking shoes and not trust the path. Overall, it is a good tour, bring sunshine, since lunch is cash.

This tour was so amazing! My guide was Mario and he was perfect for the group. Our driver was safe and careful around all the turns. The views were breathtaking and the waterfall was worth all the cardio! I was able to practice my Spanish as I was the only one who spoke English. Mario did a great job making everyone feel comfortable and safe. Highly recommend this tour!

The sites we visited were beautiful. Our guide and our driver were helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. (Thanks Omar and Fannie!). The food was good, too. Be aware: this is a trip to 14,000+ ft so if you have trouble with altitude you should come prepared. Also, it's a very long day. But worth it!
