Utgångspunkten ligger framför Info Bosnias turistinformationscenter beläget på huvudgågatan Ferhadija, precis intill "Sarajevo Meeting of Cultures". Efter introduktionen kommer guiden leda gästerna till transporten och turnén börjar. På vägen (25-30 minuter) gör vi en kort introduktion till krigstemaet och visar viktiga platser och byggnader som senare kan ses på den korta film som spelas i War Tunnel Museum (vi har noterat några platser i beskrivningen, men det finns mycket fler platser som vi förklarar).
Markale massakrer var två separata bombardemang utförda av Armén av Republika Srpska som riktade mot civila under Siege of Sarajevo i Bosnienskriget.
Den eviga flamma är ett minnesmärke för militären och civila offer för andra världskriget i Sarajevo, Bosnien och Hercegovina. Minnesmärket ägde rum den 6 april 1946, den första årsdagen av Sarajevos befrielse från den fyraåriga ockupationen av nazistiska tyska och den fascistiska oberoende staten Kroatien.
"Sniper Alley" var det informella namnet främst för gatorna Zmaja od Bosne Street och Meša Selimović Boulevard, den största boulevarden i Sarajevo som under Bosnienskriget var fodrad med snipers inlägg och blev ökänd som en farlig plats för civila att korsa. Vägen ansluter den industriella delen av staden (och vidare på Sarajevo flygplats och tunnel o Hope) till Gamla stan kulturella och historiska platser. Boulevarden själv har många höghus som ger upphovsrättsskyttar omfattande brandfält.
Museet är en kulturell och vetenskaplig institution som täcker ett brett spektrum av områden, inklusive arkeologi, konsthistoria, etnologi, geografi, historia och naturhistoria. Sarajevo Haggadah, ett upplyst manuskript och det äldsta sardiska judiska dokumentet i världen utfärdat i Barcelona omkring 1350, innehållande den traditionella judiska Haggadahen, hålls på museet.
Med ankomsten till tunnelmuseet kommer vi att förklara positionen för museet och det kända märket framför ingången "Sarajevo Rose". Efter att ha sett den korta filmen startar en timmes lång presentation som förklarar fallet i Jugoslavien, kriget i Slovenien, Kroatien, Bosnien och Hercegovina och skapandet och betydelsen av tunneln.
Efter tunneln går vi mot 84 olympiska berget Trebević, som är det berg som ligger närmast Sarajevos centrum och en första linje under belägringen av Sarajevo. På platsen har vi möjlighet att se och gå på hotellets restaurang "8" och uppleva de vackraste panoramautsikterna över Sarajevo som tyvärr är fiendearméns huvudpositioner.
Strax under Trebevic Mountain ligger den näst största judiska kyrkogården i Europa. Kyrkogården innehåller unika formade gravstenar som bara kan ses i Bosnien och Hercegovina. Man tror att deras form påverkas av medeltida bosniska gravstenar som heter "Stecak".
Från judiska kyrkogården är vi på väg mot den gamla ottomanska delen av staden för att besöka gula fästningar där vi kan se soldaternas kyrkogård och viloplats för första bosniska presidenten.

We had an impressive tour with Adnan. He himself was in the army during the siege of Sarajevo. This made his story even more alive. Adnan took all the time to answer our questions. Actually, this tour is a must if you are visiting Sarajevo.
The guide is a local expert and war veteran. He can answer all of your questions about the siege. It’s also nice to see places outside of the city.
It was truly an intense experience. Samir is a wonderful guide, not only for how he narrates the facts, but especially for the humanity he manages to convey. I am not someone who gets emotional, but he did, he really did... I am very grateful to him and I truly recommend everyone to take this tour; it gave me so much.
