Eli is a local of Tulum and not only gave us a very professional and knowledgeable tour of the ruins, but also gave us insight into the local life and how it has changed over the years.

The tour operator Eli was great. Communication was on WhatsApp. Eli gave me a picture of his vehicle which was helpful. He was casual,very friendly, and knowledgeable. His personality was such that you felt at ease and was just hanging out with a friend. It was a private tour just for the two of us and the one one experience was awesome.

We had a great experience on the tour with our guide Rodrigo. He did an excellent job explaining the history of the ruins as well as the geology of the Yucatan on the drive to the ruins. We did the tour with our 1.5 year old in a hiking back back and that worked out really well for us. Our son had fun looking at all the iguanas 🦎. While we learned a ton about the Mayan Ruins!

I have been on several tours with Yucatan Eli's Tours over the past few years. A friend of mine joined me on my most recent trip to Tulum and she wanted to see the Tulum Ruins, Yucatan Eli's Tours did not disappoint! Eli picked us up on time at our hotel and we went for a great tour of the Tulum Ruins and also a delicious lunch at a restaurant in Tulum (Eli knows great local restaurants!) We enjoyed the tour of the ruins and lunch very much, lots of great pictures at the ruins! I always recommend Yucatan Eli's Tours for the best private tours, do not hesitate to book with them!

This had potential to be better, but our guide only focused on 3-4 buildings on site. What about the others? The whole tour felt incomplete. Plus, all the structures are roped off so that you can’t go inside. It makes for a mediocre tour and was pretty disappointing. Definitely not worth the money.

We had an outstanding private tour of the Tulum ruins with Rodrigo and Dan. From start to finish, they made the experience smooth, informative, and genuinely memorable. The tour is all inclusive, meaning you do not need to worry about transportation, tickets, drinks, … They make it very convenient for you. Rodrigo is a fantastic guide who brings the history of Tulum and the Maya civilization to life with clear explanations and great storytelling. He highlighted details we would surely have missed on our own and helped us really understand the significance of the ruins and their incredible seaside settings. We learned many Mayan stories, though we don’t remember all the legends and their heroes’ names ! Dan, who is local to Tulum and was training, complemented him perfectly, looking after the logistics and adding some more local color to the stories. What we appreciated most was how personalized the tour felt. They adjusted the timing to avoid crowds, offered excellent tips for photos - we have never had so many photos of ourselves in such great settings - and checked in regularly about how we were doing. We never felt rushed, yet we covered everything on the site, and we could see how much they are passionate about the site and their roots. I would highly recommend a private tour of the Tulum ruins with Yucatan Eli’s Tours, Rodrigo and Dan to anyone visiting the area.

This was the perfect way to see the Ruins! Rodrigo is a world of knowledge and very passionate about the Mayan culture and the people of Mexico. He gives you a truly authentic experience.

I visited this site unaccompanied and travelled by collectivo from my hotel. Great site, very interesting and good facilities on the site
