Collin the tour guide was SO GREAT! I learned so many neat, unique things. The Mayan village was so amazing. That experience is definitely one of a kind. The cenote there was so nice as well. Really enjoyed this experience.
I booked this the day prior and was immediately messaged to let me know I would be collected at 6am from my Cancun hotel. Franco picked me up on time and told me that there would be two more pick ups (6:30, also from Cancun; and our guide Oliver from Playa Del Carmen) and then made the 2-hour journey to Tulum. Got there early, prior to the sun being too hot and also before it got busy. We had 1-hour with Oliver and then had an hour to do our own thing. When we all got back to the minibus, the aircon was very welcoming, as was the water/fruit juice and local snacks. From there, we travelled approx 30 minutes to a local community’s base. Here, we were shown how to make tacos (making tortilla from pre-made dough, cooking them and then adding filling) and then had a go at making our own before eating them. Finally, we had a dip in the village’s cenote, which was absolutely needed; followed by the journey back. I got back at 3pm, so approx 9-hours all in, even though it was billed as 4-5 hours - this was probably about right from arriving at Tulum and finishing at the cenote.

It is a complete tour of not many hours. Tulum is beautiful, the cenote and the Mayan villa as well. The best part is the guide (Nadia) who is a delightful person that explains everything very well and always with a smile Advisable to do

This was easily one of the highlights of our Cancun vacation! From the breathtaking views at the Tulum ruins to the stunning cenote and the authentic Jungle Village experience... Making fresh tacos with the locals, eating fresh fruit and enjoying homemade hibiscus tea gave us a genuine appreciation for the culture. Our guide, Stepan, was phenomenal! His deep knowledge, engaging storytelling, and great sense of humor made the entire experience both educational and fun....and with the seamless hotel pickup and drop-off, this was the perfect half-day adventure and worth every minute.

This was the best excursion! We started the day being picked up at our resort by our guide Luca and a driver. We picked up a few other people along the way and headed to our stops. Luca was so knowledgeable about each place and gave us plenty of time to explore on our own. He made us feel very safe also! In between stops he gave us complimentary snacks (rolls, juice, bottled water, and cookies)! I’d recommend brining a reusable water bottle for the Tulum archaeological portion because you can’t bring plastic water bottles in there. It was a very hot day and I wish I would’ve had something to drink within those 2 hours. I’d suggest bringing cash to tip your guide and the driver (my personal preference to tip). I’d also recommend bringing a little cash to give to the ladies at the Mayan village. They greeted us with hibiscus tea, fruit, and let us make tortillas. The communities Cenote was so beautiful and the perfect ending to the day! Absolutely could not say enough great things about this excursion!! And if you’re lucky enough to have Luca as your guide, be glad!! He was amazing!!

The tour operator wanted us to be picked up at 6am, and I explained that it is too early as the breakfast at the hotel starts at 6:30am. He did not push back on my request , but on the day of the tour they arrived at 6am and waited only 10 mins before leaving us while we were texting them to wait for us. Very poor communication and very unprofessional service. I would avoid at all costs. The communication was not pleasant and almost sounded they are doing us a favor.
We informed you 48 hours in advance about the pick-up time from your hotel in the northern part of Cancún, and you confirmed it. You were also notified that we could not adjust the schedule to your breakfast time, as this was a group excursion and not a private tour. Throughout the process, we maintained clear and consistent communication with you via email, WhatsApp, and text messages
