Karam was a great guide, he was knowledgeable and gave us lots of information about the history of old Cairo. It was great to go throw Moez street and Khan el Khalili market with a guide to make it a bit smoother
Horrible we were rushed though it barely saw anything. With the way they set up the pyramids with busses u don't need to pay $450.
I spent a great evening exploring Cairo’s old town with my guide Karam. I’d highly recommend this tour, especially with a knowledgeable guide like Karam, who will point out interesting aspects of the area which you could easily miss, given its very busy and vibrant atmosphere. Try the freshly squeezed sugar juice.
Great experience driver knew how to navigate traffic in both Alexandria and Cairo. Tour guide was great and knowledgeable.
Our tour to Cairo was more than we expected! Our tour guide Mohamed was very sympathetic and had a profound knowledge of the Egyptian history. Although time was short we had asked him for another stop at the pyramids and he managed also that. He was also very keen to get to see the Egyptian museum with some famous artifacts which he explained . A perfect long day to the pyramids, the sphinx, the museum and some shopping at the very end. Thank you, Mohamed, for this unique experience!
Our guide Karam was exceptional. He was very calm and educated. He brought much needed peace and calmness in otherwise very lively and chaotic street life. Just what we needed for the end of the day. He explained us all the history of Egypt and all the attractions we saw. It was very interesting to listen to him. His energy and knowledge is exceptional. Would recommend this guide and this trip to anyone who wants to experience the night life of Cairo and muslim history.
Our guide Mohammed met us outside the Port of Alexandria, by the mosque, as our group was just a small group and they didn’t get a permit to go all the way inside the port property. It was a bit of a hike but we found him waiting patiently outside as there was a delay in disembarkation. He, together with the driver, made the long ride comfortable and easy. The Pyramids were as majestic as I remembered them but there was a new welcome centre that made going inside the site seamless and more organized and the new bus transport system within the complex was great too! Mohammed was knowledgable and ever so patient. The tour was worth every penny and more as it included the entrance tickets and lunch and a visit to the Egyptian Antique Museum. Lunch was a delicious and traditional Egyptian grilled chicken and the restaurant was conveniently located just outside the archeological site’s exit gate. The only thing we didn’t like was the fact that we didn’t get to see the Egyptian Antique Museum as the other group that travelled with us just wanted to skip it and go back to Alexandria after seeing the The Great Pyramids archeological site. Mohammed also gave us an option to see the new GEM (Grand Egyptian Museum) for extra cost but once again, we were outvoted by the other group but Mohammed felt bad for us. The ticket to the GEM was not included but we were so willing to pay as it would have been the most opportune time to see this incredible new museum but I guess the other guests didn’t feel like it was important to see it. It was very unfortunate that we travelled with a group that didn’t take advantage of the fact that we were already in Cairo. Nevertheless, it was still a great trip!
Our guide Ahmed, and driver(Hami-unsure of spelling), made us feel welcome, and safe throughout our entire journey with them. We were picked up outside our cruise terminal, driven to Giza, had a delicious lunch on the go(seriously yummy), experienced the Pyramids, rode a camel, and learned so much important history from our guide. We stayed at an incredible hotel in Cairo with beautiful views of the Nile, and did a Nile dinner cruise(we would Skip this if we had it to do over again. It was too dark to see the river, and the food was just okay). The next day our guide and driver met us at the hotel and drove us back to Alexandria where we had a delicious lunch with incredible views, and explored the library and St. Mark’s Cathedral. Our guide was amazing and ensured Everything was taken care of-from checking into the hotel, to walking us to the dinner cruise and our driver met us after the cruise and walked us back to the van, to the absolute best seats everywhere we went. He really treated us well, and strived to make this experience the best ever. We were delivered back to the cruise port with plenty of time, and again-our safety was always guaranteed! Do not hesitate to trust this company for a fabulous experience-they truly took care of everything!
We wanted to visit the Great Pyramids and truly experience Egyptian culture and cuisine, but we’d heard mixed things about safety. Before booking, we carefully researched many tour companies, reading both positive and negative reviews, and ultimately chose Rames Tours — they had the most reviews, and every single one was five stars. When we arrived at the port, Ashmed and our driver were waiting with snacks and water, greeting us with warm smiles and excellent English. During the three-hour drive to Cairo, Ashmed shared fascinating insights into Egypt’s history, customs, and traditions, while always checking if we needed food, coffee, water, or rest stops — he knew all the best places to stop. Our two-day excursion was incredible: the Great Pyramids, a camel ride, authentic Egyptian shopping, traditional cuisine, the beautiful Mahamad Ali Mosque, a Nile Riverboat sightseeing cruise, and a 5-star overnight stay. Both Ashmed and our driver went above and beyond to make sure we experienced as much as possible. We not only felt completely safe the entire time, but truly like VIPs everywhere we went. We highly recommend Ramasside Tours to anyone wanting a personal, professional, and unforgettable Egypt adventure.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing Two-Day Tour from Alexandria to Cairo and Giza! Our guide Ahmed picked us up at the port in Alexandria right on time. He and his driver were incredibly friendly and spoke excellent English, immediately making us feel comfortable and welcome. From there, we traveled to Giza to see the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx, which were absolutely breathtaking. Ahmed made sure we had plenty of time to explore and even arranged a camel ride — a once-in-a-lifetime experience with an incredible view of the pyramids! We also visited the Egyptian Museum, which was fascinating. We left it up to Ahmed to choose our hotel in Cairo, and he went above and beyond — we stayed in a beautiful five-star hotel with every amenity we could have hoped for. That evening, Ahmed and the driver took us to a local restaurant on the Nile for a wonderful dinner with a perfect view. The next morning, we visited the Mosque of Muhammad Ali and even had time for a Nile River cruise and an authentic Egyptian lunch before heading back to Alexandria. We made it back to our cruise ship with plenty of time to spare. It was a fast-paced two days, but thanks to Ahmed, we were able to see and experience so much — from ancient wonders to local culture. His knowledge, organization, and kindness made this trip truly unforgettable. We highly recommend Ahmed to anyone visiting Egypt — a five-star experience all the way!
