Tre uddar & tukana / Tasman Peninsula Vandringstur - 4 dagar

I recently completed a 4 day trip in the Tasman Peninsula with Parktrek, and I had a wonderful time! The guides Bronte and Claire were lovely, enthusiastic and very accommodating. The walking was spectacular, and we also went on an enjoyable 3 hour cruise, which gave a completely different perspective. The accommodation was very comfortable and in a great location. The food was delicious! Thank you!

Beautiful experience doing the Three Capes walking holiday with Park Trek. The guides set a great tempo for the walks, with a good amount of stops, so that one could breath in the fresh air and appreciate the views, but not too many, so you could get your momentum. Great group of people to walk with, and easy social interactions and experiences which made the group travel along well.

My original booking was for the Cradle Mountain trip, but as numbers weren’t met, I transferred to the Three Capes walk. The Three Capes trip was great, Andrea was a great tour leader and lead our walks, drove the minibus and ensured we were fed and watered! The walks were beautiful and Andrea shared her knowledge of the geology, fauna and flora which added to the trip.

A nice way to experience the Three Capes & Tasman Peninsula staying in accommodation nearby. We enjoyed the beauty of the Three Capes and did the walk with a light day pack, not having to carry a full pack which is required if you are staying in the huts. The guides were very knowledge and helpful which made for a very special experience.

A trip to remember! We had such a wonderful time on Park Trek’s 3 capes adventure- the scenery was spectacular and the guides were truly wonderful, with exceptional knowledge of the flora, fauna and geography of the region, adding so much to our experience. The boat trip on the final day is not to be missed, giving a different perspective of the area. It was a truly special 4 days making lasting memories with great friends. Thank you Park Trek for a seamless, beautifully managed experience.

Park Trek offered an excellent and super-professional walking experience. The programme was three days of guided walks (Crescent Bay, Cape Raoul and Cape Hauy), and boat excursion with Pennicott Wilderness Cruise on the fourth day. Accommodation was at the clean and well-appointed Stewarts Bay Lodge, which offered a comfy bed, hot shower and home-cooked meal at the end of each day. Our guides, Matt and Sarah, were consummate professionals with great knowledge and interpretation along the trails and were also our cooks who made the delicious food for us each day. The days looked like this: 7.00am - make your own lunch from fresh ingredients provided - bread rolls/wraps with meats, cheese and salad, fresh fruit and DIY scroggin. 7.30am - breakfast - continental with cereal, toast, yoghurt, fruit, coffee, tea 8.30am - head off to the trailhead by minibus, and do the day's walk mid-afternoon - back to Stewarts Bay Lodge for showers and rest 5.45pm - cheeseboard and nibbles, BYO drinks 6.30pm - two-course dinner, BYO drinks Stewarts Bay Lodge was great accommodation - very beautiful, with access to a beach and friendly locals like pademelons and native birds. The cabins had their own washers and dryers so great for cleaning up at the end of the day being fresh for the next day's walking. The walking trails range from easy to moderately difficult. They are very well marked and maintained. To the extent some parts are difficult, it's in the hilliness and vertical and not the state of the trails. A decent (but not super) degree of walking fitness is required, but the guides were very nice and made sure no one felt left behind or out of place. We had an amazing time and cannot recommend Park Trek highly enough.

It was truly an unforgettable experience. The guides were incredibly knowledgeable and attentive, the accommodation felt like a home away from home, and the food was simply delightful. It really made the whole journey even more special and meaningful.

The Three Capes Walk with parktrek is highly recommended - our guides, Rose and Steve, are extremely professional, knowledge (about flora, fauna, animals, birds, lighthouses, history and the environment) and excellent reassuring company; accommodation is comfortable and clean, food is nourishing and includes local produce. We walked with our son (young and fit) and four 60- something friends (older and reasonably fit) and we were joined by a lovely duo from Victoria. We did practise walks for approximately three months leading to the hike. On reflection, we should have included a few more ups and down. The scenery whilst walking and from the Wilderness boat tour was breathtaking and parktrek and the guides' organisation an added bonus. Exceptional!

Excellent Guides who deserve the best ever awards, they guide, drive, cook and entertain to please and spoil the group of hikers. The treks were spectacular, the lodge was cosy in a quiet environment overlooking the bay. The food was just perfect. I highly recommend.

We loved the Three Capes & Tasman Peninsula guided walk with Park Trek. If you want the amazing experience of exploring the Tasman Peninsula and being rewarded with some of the most spectacular views in the world, but not lugging a 10-14kg backpack, this is the trip for you. You will still be tested on the 10+ km undulating walks each day, but only with a daypack and then returning each evening to very comfortable accomodation and delicious home-cooked meals at night. And the bonus for us was having Robyn and Holly to look after us for the 4 days. It was just the right amount of interaction to truly enhance the experience - helpful, knowledgeable, genuine, friendly and funny. Do yourself a favour - experience this beautiful landscape and do it very comfortably with this tour.
