Liten gruppvandring på max 12 personer. Upptäck de dolda pärlorna i Trastevere och den judiska stadsdelen. Underjordiska kryptor, hemligheter som gömmer sig fullt synliga, berättelser du inte hittar i guideböckerna. Vi tar en avkopplande promenad genom gränderna i Trastevere och upptäcker de dolda pärlorna i denna stadsdel. Vi hittar till exempel en Berninistaty genom att nonchalant gå in i en tom kyrka. Sedan får vi tillträde från nunnorna till den underjordiska kryptan och de gamla ruinerna av kyrkan Santa Cecilia, 5 meter under gatunivån. Vi fortsätter till Tibern och den judiska stadsdelen, där du får lära dig massor av vandringssägner och lokala godbitar, som du normalt inte hittar i en guidebok. Liksom att lära sig historiens ”lasagne” (historiens ”lager” i Rom) som detta område i Rom är. Denna upplevelse är för dig om du inte vill begränsa dig till de uppenbara landmärkena och vill leva en mindre trångt och mer autentisk upplevelse av Rom.

I denna kyrka kommer vi att upptäcka den första "dolda pärla" av denna tur: den välsignade Ludovica Albertoni av Bernini
Denna kyrka byggdes där en gång bodde ett av de mest kända helgonen i Rom: Sankta Cecilia. Cecilia har en mycket intressant och dramatisk historia. Hon var en tuff kvinna, och du kommer att lära dig om hennes motståndskraft medan vi utforskar de många lagren av denna "lasagne" av historia. När nunnorna har gett oss tillträde kan vi utforska den underjordiska platsen där vi hittar hennes gamla lägenhet.
Denna smala och vackra gränd är en av Roms vackraste och mest fridfulla hörn. Förutom att vara ett mycket rikt hörn av historia och hemligheter som gömmer sig i all syn, såsom den äldsta synagogan i Rom (som idag rymmer en restaurang) och en av de mest antika idrottsmän i Rom

Detta är den judiska stadsdelen, även känd som "getto". I denna lilla och pittoreska stadsdel kommer du att upptäcka byggnaden som inspirerade utformningen av Colosseum, några av de mest matdestinationerna i Rom och historien om den judiska församlingen i Rom, som är den äldsta judiska församlingen i Europa.

Once you have seen all the "big" things in Rome, take some time to explore the off the beaten path streets and learn about the people and places that the tourist books don't mention. You'll have a fascinating time and learn so much, especially if Federica is your guide!

We booked a private 2 hour tour of Jewish Ghetto one day for our group of 7. We also booked the following day a private three hour tour of Trastevere. Both tours were AMAZING! Gem of a tour! Federica was incredible. She really brought the stories to life and had an amazing knowledge. The stops were off the beaten track and things we would have never otherwise discovered. It genuinely was a small group tour, no head sets needed and able to ask any questions you had. I would highly recommend - I only wish we had more time to do other tours offered by this company. Never had a better tour before. FedericaMarrone was an outstandig guide.In a relaxed atmosphere she led the pleasantly small groupto the well-known but also to manyhidden beautiesof the city of Rome. She explained facts in a humourus way and managed to captivate the attention of usthroughout the duration of the tour. She always asked us, if there were any questions about the subject we visited. In addition I must mention that she speaks very good Englishand her pronounciationis accent-free.Taht is very pleasant! Unfortunately we had regularly bad experiences with other guided tours in Rome. We stayed for eight days in Rome and so we booked another two guided tours with her. Whenever we will come back to Rome we will book all the other tours, which we weren't able to book because the lack of time. LVG Walking Tours are highly recomend to book!
Excellent tour getting to know Rome’s hidden history. Also great is the fact that the walking tours are limited to 12. Federica our tour guide was an enthusiastic story teller keeping us all engaged. I would definitely rebook another walking tour with LVG.
