Vår rundtur i Wicklow inkluderar vacker natur, historiska byggnader, trädgårdar, sjöar - eller vad du vill, ledd av en lokal guide. Vi besöker små byar, bergsområden, herrgårdar och kanske min familjegård uppe i Wicklow Mountains! Vi kan besöka Powerscourt Gardens (entréavgift här) eller Russborough House (entréavgift här), köra genom Wicklow Mountains National Park och utforska Glendalough-dalen. Här kommer vi att besöka ruinerna av klosterstaden, grundad av St Kevin och titta på några av de sju kyrkorna och det berömda runda tornet. Om du gillar att gå kan vi gå runt båda sjöarna och njuta av det dramatiska landskapet och den vackra skogen. Vi kommer också att hinna med en trevlig lunch på någon av de härliga pubarna eller restaurangerna i Wicklow. Eller en halvliter på vägen hem....! Jag kan anpassa din dag - skicka bara ett meddelande till mig när du bokar mig så gör vi en bra plan!

Bedömda som nummer 3 i världen av National Geographic, dessa 47 hektar stora trädgårdar är fantastiska, sommar som vinter. Med sjöar, statyer, blommor och ovanliga träd är detta en trädgård för alla! Jag följer med dig på en rundtur om du inte vill vara ensam!
Vi kommer att köra genom Wicklow Mountains National Park, nära där jag växte upp. Förvänta dig ljungtäckta berg, djupa mörka sjöar, matade av bergsbäckar och underbara vyer. Det här området har varit bakgrunden för många filmer - PS I love you, Vikings, Valhalla och många fler.
Vi kommer att besöka ruinerna av klosterstaden och besöka många av kyrkorna här. Sedan, förutsatt att du är sugen på en promenad, går vi uppför dalen för att se de två sjöarna och det fantastiska landskapet. Glendalough betyder "dalen med två sjöar" - det skulle vara synd att inte se dem båda!

Jag kan hämta från ditt hotell, Dublins hamn eller en järnvägsstation. Vi ordnar mötesplatsen mellan oss när vi korresponerar. Min bil är en fullt licensierad och försäkrad limousine. I Irland måste alla bilar som transporterar passagerare för uthyrning eller belöning vara licensierade som SPSV, och ha en speciell skiva och specialförsäkring och vara av en viss standard. Min bil är en E-klass Mercedes, med två säten fram och tre bak och rymmer upp till fyra passagerare bekvämt.

Dairine is an excellent tour guide. My son and I enjoyed learning more about the areas history as well as enjoying a wonderful hike with scenic views. We were looking for someone to take us around to check out family roots. We knew a bit, but not much, she did her homework beforehand and guided us to obscure churches and graveyards related to our search. She expertly drove on twisty turny back roads without a flinch. She took us the scenic routes when she could and my goodness, they were scenic!! She took us to counties and towns where the Leesons lived almost 200 years ago. It was a revelation! We even went to a 12th century Abby she'd never even been to, so she was really into it. To top it off we went to Huntington Castle which was a nice surprise and totally gorgeous. She made potty stops and coffee/ tea/ cake stops. And topped it all off with a beer at the dearest little pub. Oh! and she picked us up and dropped us off in a lovely luxury car. It was a perfect day. Don't hesitate to let Dairine make your special day REALLY special.

We spent two wonderful days with Dairine touring Dublin and Wicklow. She picked us up right where we were staying and took us on a lovely tour through Wicklow. The weather was tricky that day but Dairine was flexible and able to make our day magical even with some rain and wind. We toured the amazing Powerscourt Estate which was such a delight. Dairine is a wealth of information and a fantastic guide.

Dairine was awesome, she picked us up at the Cruise port on time in her very comfortable Mercedes. We had a nice drive to Powerscourt and she personally guided us through the amazing garden. We visited many other beautiful places in County Wicklow, lakes, mountains and historic places and had a delicious lunch at a very nice restaurant. She even arranged for us to visit a sheep farm and witness the gentleman and his sheep dogs work his sheep. Dairine’s personal knowledge of the area and the people made our day special. As a lifelong resident of the area, you feel her passion for County Wicklow.and the mountains. She also has a very good understanding of Dublin. We would definitely select her again and recommend to friends traveling to Dublin
