Tur till Chiflón-vattenfallen och Montebello-lagunerna
Beskrivning
Delad tur på spanska. Med start 07:30 på morgonen hämtar vi passagerare på deras hotell. Längd 30 minuter. Rundtur på spanska. Du måste ta med en lunch, på vägen till Chiflóns vattenfall finns det inga stopp för frukost på en restaurang. Restid 2 timmar och 30 minuter. I Cascadas el Chiflón finns det 800 trappsteg för att se Brudslöja-vattenfallet. I detta ekoturismcenter erbjuds zipline-aktiviteten (kostnad ingår inte), du kan göra det för att inte gå ner. Vårt nästa stopp blir Montebello-lagunerna, tid att äta tillhandahålls (ingår ej), vi besöker Laguna Internacional (delar Mexiko och Guatemala), sjön Tziscao, sjön Pojoj. Man kan sätta sig på en flotte (extra kostnad) och ro med hjälp av båtsmannen för att komma till andra sidan och kunna simma. I slutet av turen kommer vi tillbaka till San Cristóbal. * Rekommendationer: Ta med lunch. Baddräkt, handduk och kontanter.

Efter upphämtning åker vi till de vackra vattenfallen "El Chiflón" där vi ska vandra för att se de olika vattenfallen tills vi når "Velo de Novia" med en droppe på mer än 120 meter. På den här sidan kan du se en stor variation av arter av orkidéer, bromeliader, enbär, palomilloträd, sapodilla, ceder och mahogny. Inom det befintliga djurlivet som finns i området kan hittas: leguaner, kaniner, bältdjur, ormar och olika fåglar.
Vi fortsätter vår väg till Lagunas de Montebello National Park och besöker 5 laguner som Tziscao, Internacional, Pojoj, 5 Lagos och den stora Montebello. Där måltiden kommer att göras efter att ha besökt de två första lagunerna, måltidstid 1 timme, rekommenderas de typiska restaurangerna i Lagunas de Montebello National Park, och senare besöks de sista lagunerna. Lagunas de Montebello nationalpark, belägen i kommunen La Trinitaria, Chiapas, Mexiko, en plats som kännetecknas av sina naturliga, historiska och arkeologiska turistattraktioner], unik naturskönhet i sitt slag, för sina sjöar i olika färger, orsakade av samma naturen som omger den, helt enkelt en magisk plats.
Pojojsjön tillhör nationalparken Lagunas de Montebello, ett nätverk av vattendrag som ligger i Trinitaria-kommunen Chiapas. Lagunerna fungerar som Mexikos gräns mot Guatemala. Det första du bör göra på sjön Pojoj är att ta en perfekt flotte tur, som är gjord av stockar knutna med naturfiberband. Det spännande med de här navigeringarna är att alla besättningsmedlemmar måste ro, vilket gör att du kan njuta av vattnets brus, skogens ljud och på vägen göra lite träning som omedelbart återupplivar dig.
Den internationella sjön ligger mellan Mexikos gränser och Guatemala (gränsen). Det ligger bara 2 km från huvudentrén till Ejido Tziscao. Lago Internacional är en del av ett system med 30 spektakulära laguner där turistvandrarhemmet rehabiliterades och utökades med utsiktsplatser, bryggor, gångvägar, stigar, restauranger och ett hantverkstorg för att locka fler nationella och guatemalanska besökare, särskilt med den gamla stenstigen som ansluter till Mexiko och Guatemala.

Time is too much, seats are uncomfortable. I spent more time in the Urvban than in the tourist landscapes. I think much more could be improved
Agradecemos su opinión, respecto de los tiempos, están perfectamente señalados en la descripción de la reserva, por otro lado, lamentablemente, para poder conocer algunas de las bellezas de Chiapas, tenemos desplazamientos largos pero que al final merece la pena. Tomamos en cuenta su opinión para tratar de mejorar los tiempo.
The Chiflon waterfalls were great, but we needed to stay with the group while we were there and got a little short time in my opinion. Montebello lakes are definitely not worth the long trip. The food over there was way overpriced (300 pesos for 2 coffee and 2 quesadillas), but you were left no choice. Felt like a tourist trap to me. The lakes themselves are not special. If I would do it again, I would look for an only el Chiflon tour

I love the naturalist everything was amazing. The only thing if you want to have a good breakfast is to bring your own food

This was a very long day. But we’ll worth it. The waterfall was spectacular. I also went zip lining for the first time! The lakes were also so beautiful. The roads in all of Chiapas are littered with very large speed bumps. So be prepared for a bumpy bus ride. But we had a good driver. And we got to step into Guatemala!

The announced ride was completed on time, driver ok. 20 euros for the service is more than correct. However, you will have to add all the tips of the guides (chiflón waterfall and boatmaster) and the activity of the raft tour on the lagoon at 150 pesos. Moreover the place to eat at lunch is more than expensive for what it offers. A small plate of carne asada with frijol and rice for 120 pesos. In short, if we take all the expenses, the price of the tour almost doubles. So we have to provide cash.

Got picked up within the timeframe and hit the road toward the falls! The guide didn’t speak any English (when I booked I had selected the English option though) It’s almost 3 hr drive to the falls, no bathroom breaks, can’t eat on the bus and the seats aren’t the most comfortable. Once we arrived at the falls we had 2 hrs to explore which was a bit rushed if you wanted to see all the falls and also relax and try to grab some food and eat before getting back on the bus. The second stop was at a lake and we were first told it was a 20 minute stop, then 30 minutes then a hr…..You have the option to go on a boat tour but you are expected to paddle the boat so it’s not a relaxing experience but it is beautiful. At this stop you can get lunch but if you don’t speak Spanish it’s impossible to understand what anyone is saying because everyone was speaking very fast. The last stop is another lake that borders Guatemala and it’s very beautiful but we weren’t given a time frame for when to be back at the bus so after wandering around for a bit the driver found all of us and we left for the almost 4 hr drive with no bathroom breaks, got back to hostel at 1030pm. It’s a very long day, the locations are beautiful but be prepared and bring your own lunch!
