Let us say from the outset that Tiffany and John are delightful young people. They are sold short by the itinerary though. The National Museum is adequate but I wouldn’t rate it very highly. A read of the Wikipedia page is just as useful. And don’t knock Wikipedia. The trip to the cultural village was pretty dire. I don’t think it is much of a reflection of Zambian culture. Mass production for the tourist market. The highlight was definitely the lunch at the food market. Eating locally is always a great window onto a culture. John and Tiffany were kind enough to drop us back where we were staying. The price of $US100 pp was pretty outrageous! If the company is looking for a successful model of the type of tour that gives an insight into a society look at what Afriroots Dar offer in Dar Es Salam. There bajaji tour was outstanding.

Clare is such an amazing guide. From the first communication she makes you feel very comfortable and she completely adapts to your needs. The tour is very complete, you get to understand the history and the culture of the country. Clare's explanations are very complete and she always involves you in the conversation too. The Cultural Village is a good place to buy some artesanal goods and all the sellers are very welcoming too. Going with Clare makes it even better as she can help you speak to them and get better deals. The Food market is amazing, you get to try typical Zambian food surrounded by locals and they really make you feel like one of them. Overall, I really enjoyed the tour with Clare and would 100% encourage and recommend everyone to do it.
