Besök Ghana och upplev för att utbilda början med att sitta och titta på en video av det historiska om Ashantierna. Sedan guidas du genom flera rum i palatset med ursprungliga artefakter. Här förstås Ashanti-imperiets bästa betydelse, figur som Yaa Asantewaa (krigsdrottningen) och den nuvarande kungen som sitter på pallen. Museet ligger inte i anslutning till fältet där Akwasidee-stamcheferna samlas hålls var sjätte vecka.
Resenärer kommer att lära sig och känna historien till början av Ashantis, komma och göra en sightseeing på den exakta platsen där den gyllene pallen stammades ner till varv av kung Osei Tutu I, grundaren av Ashanti Nation. Är också platsen som sådden drevs in i marken av översteprästen OKOMFO ANOKYE. Historien har fått oss att förstå det, att sådden pressades i marken för nästan 300 år sedan. Uppleva den lokala marknaden, gå runt kejetia som en lokal och lära sig mer om marknaderna i kumasi central, långt ifrån ser kejetia-marknaden ut som ett främmande moderskap som landade i centrum av Kumasi. Närmare upp de rostiga tenntaken på denna enorma marknad citeras ofta som de största i Västafrika. Det finns 11 000 bås och minst fyra gånger så många som arbetar här. Ser ut som en cirkulär shanty stad. Inuti den pulserande kejetiaen är ganska desorienterande men väldigt fängslande.

This tour provides you a great overview of Kumasi and the Asante people. We especially liked Okomfo Anokye Sword Site. We can recommend the tour.

Great experience. Guide was cool and I felt like I got a great experience. It was my birthday also, so it made it even more special.
Bilson has a warm personality and took great photos of us walking towards the market and at the sites. We had a very local lunch experience which was nice but music was too loud for talking. He did not have a personal vehicle so we took several taxis and some were in very poor condition. He also could have picked us up on time and at the agreed location. But he is flexible and picked us at the airport after we clarified we could not come to him. He did not explain much of the sites as there were private guides at each stop. Most disappointing was we came specifically for the Akwaside Festival which we stressed in all our communication but the event was cancelled because the King travelled. Not his fault but he was totally unaware and we only found out at the Palace. Overall an ok tour but could have visited the sites on my own in a nicer and safer Uber. He is growing his business and I think it will keep impr

Great local experience learning about the Asante people, riding through the market and watching the traditional weaving process. We had a great tour guide who was very knowledgeable and passionate walking with my mom and helping her as we walked throughout the city. The tour is affordable and gives a great “crash course” style experience into Kumasi especially if you’re only in town for a day. We flew in with AWA at 7am and returned to Accra that evening at 5pm.
Bilson gave us a great experience touring Kumasi. He is kind and very knowledgeable. He made us feel comfortable exploring the local areas and markets, and tailored the experience to us. Bilson also helped us explore Kente villages further outside of Kumasi. We 100% recommend Bilson for anyone wanting to get to know the city.
The museums were amazing and the tour guides were very knowledgeable about Ashanti culture and history. There were many great artifacts. I could have gotten to the locations on my own since the tour guide used Uber and did not provide any narrative or insight between locations. I would not recommend this company for solo trips.
Bilson is a very friendly and caring person. I was picked from my hotel and throughout my tour of Kumasi, I had the experience of travelling in several types of local transports (eg: crotro, tuktuk, cabs and by walk) as we moved from location to location. I really did feel like a local and it was an enjoyable experience. Kumasi has a rich historical heritage and I had great fun learning about the Asante culture. Unfortunately, on the day I had the tour, the Mahahiya Palace Museum was closed , because they were reinstalling the Ghanaian artefacts returned by the British. But luckily, because the proprietor of the gift shop, knew Bilson, he allowed me to do some shopping, which was great for getting gifts for family. The tour ended with me eating a meal of foo foo. This was my first time and the food tasted good. I would really recommend this Tour because Bilson did his very best to make it enjoyable and comfortable for me from the moment I left the hotel till I returned.
Bilson was a great guide and very friendly. We definitely experienced Kumasi in a way we could not on our own. He took very good care of us and we had a great time.
We learned so much from this tour and from our guide, Bilson. Plus, we just enjoyed our time with Bilson. He is interesting and so personable.
3.5 stars, good way to see Kumasi highlights. Bilson is friendly and pleasant. Would have liked to hear more from our guide about local experiences and inner workings of the market. But overall good way to have a slightly personalized tour of Kumasi's historic attractions.
