Andra alternativet: besök den traditionella blomstermarknaden - Jamaica. Gå igenom de olika salarna på denna enorma marknad. Njut av godsakerna från traditionell mexikansk mat. Läckra "tacos de carnitas" - original från Michoacan, prova majs i olika varianter, färsk frukt och traditionellt godis. Låt oss flytta i tunnelbanan från centrum till marknaden och spendera några timmar på att besöka den mest traditionella marknaden för att köpa blommor. Kom nära Mexiko med en läcker upplevelse. Lär dig varför mexikanskt kök anses vara ett UNESCO:s immateriella kulturarv. Det är en tur som du inte får missa om du vill uppleva det verkliga Mexico City.

Daniela was an excellent guide who is very knowledgeable about Mexican history. She took us to important historical sites and had us taste delicious street food. I highly recommend her along with this tour. It was a great way to get acquainted with the rich culture of Mexico City.

I and my friend spent more than half a day with Mexico a Pie tours. First off, in the morning was the free guided tour. Very much worth our time and with an English speaking guide (Julio) who explained the history of the city and took us to important landmarks within the historic center. After which we took the paid tour "THE REAL MARKETS: FOOD TASTING EXPERIENCE" which was well worth it. It exceeded my expectations and was a lot of fun. We were also able to take public transportation (Metro and Metrobus) and was able to experience a few of the fascinating markets and got to observed the neighborhood's streetlife. The food that we had were very good as well as the narration and explanation of our guide, Adriana, was well presented and ably explained to us. Just a word of caution, the market tour just like any big city in the world and for this particular tour, being outside of the more "touristy" area, caution should be observed and listen to the guide on specific areas or routes. Thumbs up, excellent tour of Mexico City by Mexico a pie. Thanks!
