Möt guiden i din hotelllobby i Siem Reap för morgon eller eftermiddag. Avhämtning på morgonen är olika mellan 7:30 och 8:30, medan eftermiddagsutflykter avgår klockan 2 och hämtas mellan 13:00 och 14:00. Därför rekommenderas gästerna att vänta i hotellets lobby och är redo att gå så snart din guide anländer. Under torrsäsongen (februari till jul) kan byn nås med minibuss eller motorcykel, eftersom den - humpiga vägen som normalt översvämmas torkar upp. Under regnperioden (augusti till jan), en kort båttur från kajen, genom våtmarken tar dig till Kompong Phluk. Det är inte en flytande by, men en by på högstänger liksom några flytande hus och trots fisket är det ofta vietnamesiska minoritetens privilegier, men invånare i Kompong Phluk är nästan uteslutande av kambodjanska ursprung. Byborna flytta ofta från hus till annat hus under regnperioden, de bor i hus byggda på stal och flyttar till små stugor nära vattnet under torrsäsongen för att göra fiske. Anländer på kajen, ombord en lokal båt för en 1,5 timmars resa på Tonle Sap Lake samt byn där du kommer att se naturen på ett sätt som du bara sett i bildböcker, och turnén i Kampong Phluk är värt extra ansträngning för att komma dit, då kommer vi att besöka byn, pagoden på den enda butten (den enda byggnaden som inte är på stal) och se bybornas aktiviteter som din expertguide kommer att lära dig om sin kultur, livsstilen , och ekosystemet i denna fascinerande plats. Valfritt (augusti till jan): du kan betala extra för att ta en liten kanotpaddla av byborna (eller vänta på gruppen ca 40 mns); tar dig djupt in i den täta översvämmade skogen. Träden i denna skog är perfekt anpassade till deras ovanliga existens, eftersom de är helt nedsänkt under en del av året. Återvänd till Siem Reap och släpp av på ditt hotell eller begärd avstängningsplats inom Siem Reap centrum.

Men den lilla båtturen ingår fortfarande på den låga skumma floden som tar dig till sjön under den torra säsongen.

Our driver/English speaking guide, Mr Kong Thy was very informative, friendly and stayed with us the whole time. We felt safe and thoroughly enjoyed the tour. The sunset was spectacular on Tonle Sap Lake.
Very nice - our tour guide San was knowledgeable and our driver Phallit was very safe and cautious. We stopped at a coffee/rest area on the way to the lake. We also stopped at a market for a quick tour. Then we proceeded to the fishing tours with a tour of a school and a temple. The kids at the school were eager to practice English for a few minutes and very friendly! We took the boat onto the lake and made a couple quick stops at fishing village floating restaurants. San was with us the whole time showing us around. Nothing was crowded and it was all easily accessible. On the way back to Siem Reap our driver took us to a local restaurant that was tasty and not crowded. Overall great value and enjoyable experience!
We had an amazing experience on the Tonle Sap Lake & Kampong Phluk Village Half Day Tour. From start to finish, everything was well organised and enjoyable. Our tour guide, San, was outstanding, very knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about sharing the history, culture, and daily life of the area. He made the whole trip engaging and informative, and was happy to answer every question. 10/10 for San! Our driver, Phearom, was equally excellent and professional. The vehicle was spotless, very comfortable, and made the drive relaxing and enjoyable. Another 10/10! The highlight of the trip was visiting the village school and meeting the local children. It was a great experience and gave us a real insight into village life around Tonle Sap Lake. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Siem Reap. Great team, great service, and an unforgettable experience.

A wonderful tour. We were lucky enough to experience wedding in the floating village. They invited us in and shred their drinks and food (I wasn’t game enough to eat the food). Awesome sunset from the floating market.
Everything was well organized, smooth pickup and a great overall program, but what truly made the experience special was our guide. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and shared honest, meaningful insights about local life around Tonle Sap and the floating village.
We were excited to experience Tonle Sap Lake and the nearby villages and markets. And thanks to our guide Ty Sath and our driver Mr. Mom, our experience was even better than our expectations! We especially appreciated Sath’s knowledge of Cambodian history, and culture , and his love for his country and the people. We observed this when in the markets and the villages, and especially at the school where the teacher and students showed respect to him. And because of Sath, we were able to interact with the students as they practiced their English. Sath was also so thoughtful and attentive to our questions. And when I left my small backpack on the boat he quickly made sure it was located and kept safe until we got back. If you want a rewarding, insightful and memorable tour I strongly recommend that you contact Ty Sath soon before your trip because he is in demand as a quality and trusted guide!
We cannot say enough about our tour guide Sath and our driver Mr. Mum. Sath was so helpful and attentive to our questions. He shared his knowledge and love for Cambodia and the area we toured in the villages and on the lake so that we too could love the experience we had with him. He was kind and polite and remembered our names from the moment we met at our hotel. If you want to experience the best in your tour we strongly encourage you to use Sath!
We had a wonderful day on the Tonle Lake exploring the village. The real treat was visiting the school and traditional home. Sath was very knowledgeable and fun to be around. He made the experience 100% enjoyable. We also appreciated Mr. Mom as our driver and his luxurious van. Would highly recommend this tour.
San and our driver Phirom gave us a wonderful experience to the floating villages of Tonle Sap river.. San was very knowledgeable about the history of Cambodia and answered all our many questions. We toured the local market to see the daily lives of the locals, the boat trip along the river and out to Tonle Sap was interesting and we really enjoyed the visit to the school where the students are learning English. The kids are very engaging.. thank you San and Phirom for a lovely morning and would highly recommend this tour.
