Hallå! Det här är Eva från Eva Kestner International Taiko Drum Academy. Jag är en professionell och skicklig taiko trummis och instruktör. Jag var grundare och första musikaliska ledare för Cornell Universitys Taiko Drumming grupp, jag har fått Utmärkelsen av Tokyo University of Arts New Artists Competition, och min originalmusik publiceras nu av Harper Collins och Cambridge International Curriculum som sätter en global standard för utbildning och anställning. Upplev de underbara Japanska taikotrummorna genom en 90 minuters workshop där jag kommer att lära ut taikotrummor på Engelska. Vi kommer att gå igenom grundträningen, rytmträningen och lära oss ett traditionellt och modernt taiko trumstycke. Jag kommer också att ge en kort föreställning och kort taiko trumma historia förklaring. Dessutom får du en personlig video där du spelar taikotrummor. Eva sent me an email to say that I was getting a private lesson, there were no other applications for the day. This has been a gift to me! Wow. What an energy is released from you! The asking price is low for the experience Eva has given me! What a wonderful personality she has!

This was a great multigenerational activity that was fun, physical, and culturally educational. Eva was a great, encouraging teacher and the format of the class made it very engaging. We would definitely recommend. You can tell she’s really passionate about her music and excited to share with others.
Anyway, it was a lot of fun! Eva's lessons were hard but fulfilling, and when I finished I was fascinated by wadaiko. There were several kinds of drums, and I was allowed to use three kinds of drums. From rhythm practice to songs, I'm very happy.

Fantastic hands on drumming workshop with Eva. We quickly learned drumming patterns and played together as a group. Eva is an enthusiastic and skilled instructor. So much fun!
We had a wonderful time with the enthusiastic and talented Eva. We dove right into technique and explored a variety of rhythms, finishing with a traditional folk piece. This was truly a unique and memorable way to experience Japanese culture.

Eva was a great and fun teacher. This was one of the highlights of my trip. I loved learning the music and receiving the videos of my performance to share with my friends was really neat. If you are interested in music I highly recommend this experience.
My family and I had a private Taiko drumming lesson with Eva and it was absolutely incredible. Many cited it as their favorite memory and experience on our trip in Japan.
