Meiji Jingu-helgedomen är en av Tokyos mest ikoniska och betydelsefulla shinto-helgedomar, belägen i Harajuku. Vi promenerar tillsammans till huvudbyggnaden i Meiji Jingu Shrine medan vi lär oss om kulturen och historien. Vi får också lära oss om några Japanska traditionella ritualer.
Efter Meiji Jingu-helgedomen åker vi till Harajuku och tar den berömda och färgglada Takeshita-gatan. Takeshita Street är en livlig och ikonisk shoppinggata belägen i Harajuku-distriktet i Tokyo och massor av shopping- och matmöjligheter. (Hitta rainbow sockervadd eller bajsglass)
Fortsätter till Harajukus Street-Style Wonderland: Dyk in i den pulserande och eklektiska modescenen i Harajuku, där varje gata är en landningsbana. Fördjupa dig i kalejdoskopet av färger, stilar och ungdomlig energi som definierar Tokyos trendsättande distrikt. Vi åker till Tokyu Plaza för att ta några fantastiska bilder! Nästa kommer Shibuya att passera den trendiga och fashionabla Cat Street.
Shibuya Crossing Spectacle: Upplev Tokyos pulserande hjärta vid den berömda Shibuya Crossing. Gå med i publikens rytm när du navigerar i världens mest trafikerade korsning och bevittnar stadens livliga urbana energi. Innan vi står inför den livliga och största korsningen i världen gör vi ett kort stopp i den nya Miyashita-parken. Vi kan ta en kaffe eller njuta av atmosfären på taket!

Akihabara (秋葉原), ofta kärleksfullt kallad ”Akiba”, ligger i centrala Tokyo, på Chiyoda-avdelningen. Det som började som en svart marknad för radiodelar efter kriget har vuxit till en av de mest levande och unika stadsdelarna i Tokyo. Akihabara är en lekplats för teknikälskare och popkulturfans, där du hittar allt från den senaste elektroniken till underground animevaror.
Ueno Park ligger i nordöstra Tokyo och är en av stadens mest älskade grönområden, känd för sitt rika kulturella utbud och säsongsbetonade skönhet. Ursprungligen en del av Kaneiji Temple, blev parken allmän mark 1873 och har nu breda stigar, museer och över 1000 körsbärsträd! It was simply great. The guide Jero accompanied us through Tokyo and Kyoto and tailored the tour to our interests. With exciting information and great background knowledge, the tour remained consistently engaging.

Jero was the perfect travel companion for us. Jero not only planned the 3 Tokyo days neatly in advance and coordinated them with us, but also showed us the most diverse facets of Tokyo on site afterwards. In German (and thus optimal for our children) he showed us typical sights, but also led us through various neighborhoods as well as to hidden gems. While he captured the day and us as a family photographically every now and then, he brought us closer to both Japanese cuisine and everyday Japanese life on our joint exploration tours. This allowed us to get to know Japan and Japanese culture authentically and in depth. Jero also ensured that we as a family did not have to worry about anything and could thus enjoy our time together fully and without organizational stress. In addition, he adjusted the tour every now and then, depending on the interests as well as the fitness level of the group. Jero is top organized and flexible, shows a lot of passion and also goes the extra mile. We like to look back on three wonderful days with Jero in Tokyo, which we rounded off with a joint Izakaya evening. We thank you very much for the great days and can warmly recommend Jero as a travel companion!

We had an incredible experience on this private curated Tokyo tour with our guides, Jero and Robin. We had a four-hour private tour with Jerome on June 23, 2026. The tour was amazing! We had already seen quite a bit beforehand. We coordinated our tour with Jerome before the start. He spontaneously planned everything, tailored it to us, and showed us corners we would not have seen on our own. His explanations were refreshing and perfectly matched in terms of the depth of information. You can clearly see how much joy he gets from his job. For the second time, we booked a tour through Tokyo with Jero – and it was again a great decision.
