This was such a great experience. Upon arriving in Tokyo, our family was so confused and overwhelmed. There were so many people and we didn’t know how to decide on places to eat. We did a personal tour with Tadashi, who kindly waited while we were late due to being lost and having taxi troubles. Once we arrived, Tadashi was immediately welcoming to our family and gave us very detailed background on all the places we went. The two restaurants he showed us were excellent. And the dessert at the end of the night while a skyline view was the perfect ending to a perfect tour. I cannot speak highly enough of Tadashi. He was one of the best guides we have had during our Japan trip. He was the sweetest person and very knowledgeable about all areas Tokyo. We got some much history and insider tips as well as a great dinner, and a new forever friend. If you are visiting Tokyo and do not want to waste time trying to figure out where to eat, this tour is for you! Bonus points if you get to have Tadashi as your guide!!

This was a grand tour . Great restaurants with excellent food were chosen. Our tour guide, Hiro, was great. Hiro was very knowledgeable, courteous and had great communication skills. Hiro was very patient and took the time to explain different aspects of the tour in great detail. Highly recommended.

My wife and I had a great experience with Hiro as our guide. We enjoyed spending time with him and learning about his background. He also provided good insight on food items and Japan in general. We had an excellent evening with Kazu He was prompt and easy to find and friendly We went to 3 locations. One restaurant for negiri sushi, one for Wagyu tastings and a final stop for gelato. All were delicious and we were more than full at the end. This tour is great if looking specifically to try sushi and Wagyu alongside a local

Yuki from magical trips was absolutely great for this tour. I followed the directions on the link in Viator which didn’t seem to send me to the right place (having looked at the links sent by the organisers afterwards I should have followed those instead!). The organisers were great however and sent directions to the first restaurant where we met Yuki. After our many apologies for being late we got underway having a great time. We had sushi in a lovely restaurant, followed by waghu in another equally great place. Yuki gave us a tour, much needed advise (was our first night in Tokyo) and invaluable information. We ended with dessert. Yuki took some fantastic photos and all of us (family of 4, with a ten year old and 9 year old) thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Thank you Yuki!

Our guide was outstanding. Very knowledgeable, which was useful for our first day in Tokyo. Don‘t expect gourmet restaurants but good quality for an evening out. Nice tour as an introduction to Japanese food culture.
