I denna 1 - timmars workshop kommer du att lära dig Kintsugi, den traditionella Japanska konsten att reparera keramik. Med hjälp av specialiserade verktyg och guldpulver kommer du att fixa trasiga keramiska bitar. Vår Engelska instruktör kommer att Guide dig steg-för-steg. Ingen erfarenhet behövs. Vi använder snabbtorkande material perfekt för resenärer. Din bit torkar omedelbart, så att du säkert kan packa den och ta med den hem samma dag. Varför Kintsugi? Den Japanska "Mottainai"-kulturen Japan har många jordbävningar, som ofta bryter omhuldade keramik. Japanska kulturen värdesätter dock "Mottainai" – tron att det är ett slöseri att kasta användbara saker. Istället för att kassera trasig keramik uppfann hantverkarna Kintsugi. De limmade ihop bitarna med naturlig trädsav och målade sprickorna med guld. Denna metod förvandlar skador till en vacker funktion, vilket gör att föremål kan användas i åratal. My friend and I had the most wonderful time!! What I love the most was the homey, cozy environment with warm and welcoming instructors and happy people who had signed up for the different workshops that are offered - kintsuki, making of chopsticks, origami, and calligraphy. Our instructor, Htar, was not only a fantastic and encouraging instructor, but also a really sweet girl. The activity itself was an experience my friend and I both enjoyed and a memory we’ll cherish every time we think back to our time in Tokyo as well as when we look at our crafts, but Htar was the cherry on top. We got to meet amazing people, we learned about Japanese culture, and just had the loveliest time ever. Do yourself a favor - BOOK!!!

This was a very nice experience! I’m so happy with my finished piece. The staff were very friendly and helpful and I really enjoyed the break from the busy city! I highly recommend this experience, you get to learn about authentic kintsugi and you get a really cool souvenir as well!
We had a great time! The instructors were very helpful and assisted the four of us throughout. We messaged ahead to see if we could change our time and they were really accommodating. It was a nice bright studio tucked away.
