Denna tur korsar gränsen mellan västra Belize och Guatemala. Gränsövergångsprocessen med oss är enkel och assisteras av vårt team. Du betalar först Belize avgångsskatt (USD 20) per person och får en utresestämpel i ditt pass. Vi hjälper dig sedan vid den guatemalanska gränsen, där du får din inresestämpel. Hela gränspassageprocessen tar cirka 30 minuter.
Efter ca 1 timmes körning inom Guatemala gör vi ett kort stopp för att fotografera Petén Itzásjön, en av Guatemalas tre största sjöar.
Efter totalt 2 - timmars bilresa från gränsen kommer du till Tikal nationalpark, där det är dags att göra sig redo för din guidade tur. Din lokala Expert Guide kommer att leda dig genom höjdpunkterna i Tikal arkeologiska plats, inklusive Great Plaza med Temple I och Temple II, norra Akropolis, centrala Akropolis, Temple III, Temple IV och Lost World komplex. Du kommer att ha tid att klättra i utvalda tempel och ta bilder från de bästa utsiktsplatserna, som rekommenderas av din Guide. När du vandrar längs djungelstigarna kan du se lokal flora och vilda djur, såsom spindelapor, vrålapor, coatis, kalkoner, tukaner och många andra fågelarter. Efter en ca 3,5 till 4 timmar lång guidad tur är det dags att påbörja hemresan.
På vägen tillbaka från Tikal kör vi ca 30 minuter till en lokal restaurang för att njuta av den inkluderade lunchen. Du har fem menyalternativ att välja mellan, inklusive vegetariska och veganska alternativ, med en dryck inkluderad. Luta dig tillbaka och njut av din måltid serverad med handgjorda majstortillas.
Efter lunch kör vi ca 1,5 timme tillbaka till gränsen. Vårt team hjälper dig med gränsövergången för att återvända till Belize. Inga gränsavgifter krävs vid returresan.

Our group had a wonderful time with Yumi and Israel. Yumi was a very fun, knowledgeable, friendly, personal guide. The sites were amazing and we were so glad we went. Would recommend to anyone.
We took a day trip to Tikal from San Ignacio with my parents. Our tour guide for the day was Sergio who made the trip really special!!! We loved the visit to the Tikal Mayan site. The history is breathtaking and truly a wonder of the world. The lunch that was provided was also delicious. We would definitely recommend this trip. Thank you Sergio!!
We did a day trip from our hotel in San Ignacio and had a great time. Everything was managed from drivers to guides. We had a little hiccup in our set up but we wouldn’t have even known and it made absolutely no difference to our day. In fact, we ended up interacting with two extra guides beyond our assigned one and got even more perspectives on the ruins. Had many laughs and a brilliant time touring these amazing ruins (would also say, if you are not sure whether Tikal is worth it, it absolutely is and having a guide is essential to get the full experience). Highly recommend the tour and the company that did it for us!
Our tour guide has lived in the Tikal his whole life and had incredible knowledge of the area and history. The visit to Tikal probably wouldn’t be worth it without the tour guide. He also took us down trails that the larger groups didn’t take so we always had a more personal experience

Great experience overall. From having a contact help with the Belize-Guatemala border crossing, to the drive to Tikal and meeting our guide was all done seamlessly. Our guide was very good, able to explain the history of the various sites as well as the plant and animal life around us. It made for a much better experience than if we went just ourselves. There is a fair amount of walking and stairs due to the scale of the ruins, so be ready for some exertion, but well worth the effort!
