Vår resa börjar från Aten. På denna fantastiska heldagstur kommer du att se de vackraste sevärdheterna och landskapet. På vår väg kommer jag att ge dig mycket information om historia, mytologi och kultur. Vi kommer att njuta av ett besök i Delphi, världens roman och de religiösa platserna i Meteora. Vi kommer också att passera Thermopylae, där de 300 spartanerna slogs och den hisnande Arachova. Jag kan anpassa schemat, varaktigheten och aktiviteterna för att möta dina behov. Vår resa börjar från Aten och sedan kör vi till Thermopylae, där vi kommer att besöka Thermopylaes innovativa center för historisk information och vi kommer att se statyn av Leonidas.
Efteråt kommer vi att köra till den fantastiska Meteora, där vi kommer att besöka många kloster, byggda på toppen av 1000 fotstenar, såsom Varlaams Heliga Kloster, Rousanou och Heliga Treenigheten. Då tar vi en paus för en kaffe på Kalabaka. Kör genom de vackra stenbyarna Arachova där vi kan stoppa så att du kan ta bilder och köpa souvenirer.
Efter en underbar scenisk körning genom bergen och bördiga dalar når vi Delphi, som ligger under 3000ft höga berget Parnassos. Där kommer vi att besöka det arkeologiska museet i Delphi, vi kommer att se den arkeologiska platsen i Delphi och platsen för Apollo-templet.
Distomo en dramatisk by 1944 350 människor förlorade sina liv, det var ett nazistkrigsbrott som begicks av medlemmar av Waffen-SS i byn Distomo, Grekland, 1944 under den tyska ockupationen av Grekland under andra världskriget.
I detta extra lokala område ... !!! I slutet av turen kommer alla resenärer att njuta av en mycket beutifull grekisk TAVERNA grekisk mat som grill kött, fisk, sallader, öknar, vin, öl, mjuka dinks. All denna mat betalas från vår copmany, all inclusive måltid i slutet för alla.

Nikos drove us on a 14 hour excursion, which is 13 more hours than I would want to drive… And he did it like a pro. He knew tons of facts and was able to share those with us so we knew more about what we were seeing and took us to some places that we were not aware of that were super interesting. All in all it was an amazing day. We finished with dinner, and Christos was our waiter and just an overall great guy who made dinner such a pleasure. Highly recommend!
We had a great day exploring Delphi, Thermopylae and Meteora. Constantine was an excellent guide and driver who kept us constantly entertained with a great blend of humour, and knowledge about both modern and Ancient Greece. I would recommend this trip to anyone.
Our trip with Constantine was amazing from start to finish. He was so knowledgeable about Greek history, mythology, and culture, and answered any question we had. The drive was comfortable and even long stretches in the car went by quickly as Constantine told us many stories about life in modern and ancient Greece. Due to bad weather, we wanted to get to Meteora as fast as possible, and Constantine was able to adjust the schedule so that we could visit the monasteries before storms rolled in. We were visiting Greece on our honeymoon, but we would recommend this trip to anyone travelling in Athens if you have the time.

We did the Thermopylae, Meteora and Delphi Private Full Day Tour with our guide Ozzy and had an absolutely wonderful time! Ozzy is such an amazing source of knowledge, and explains things so well that we were all (12yr old to 49 yr old) mesmerised for the whole day. We started early, and my plan was to have a nap in the car in the morning, but as soon as Ozzy started talking I was hooked and wide awake. He managed to avoid some rain clouds by rearranging the order of the sites so that by the time we got to them we had clear blue skies and plenty of time to walk around them. We as a family of 4 had one of the best experiences on our holiday by having Ozzy take us around, and we cannot recommend it more! So many amazing memories, and we learned so much too! Thank you Ozzy for making our day!

Probably one of the most memorable days we have had on our Euro holiday. Our wonderful driver, Marselo, was a total professional who shared so much fascinating history and local knowledge (along with a good dose of his own personal anecdotes and charm) to make this extraordinary trip incredible. The scenery was beyond stunning, the time allocated at the main stops, plus several quick photo stops along the way, was just right to keep this round trip running on schedule without ever feeling pressured or rushed. They also catered beautifully for us as vegans, finishing the day with one of the most delicious and generous meals we’ve had in Greece. The dolmades, gemista, fries, bread, and salad were exceptional, and paired perfectly with some local white wine - most of which we smashed before we even thought to take photos! 😋 The Mercedes was super comfortable, quiet (and fast!). We had the best day and would highly recommend this trip to anyone keen on seeing a lot more than just the Acropolis while in Athens. 11/10.

You’ve always wanted to go to Greece, and it has taken you decades to get here, so you don’t want to miss more than you must. You’ve been reading the guidebooks and watching Rick Steeves videos on YouTube for months. A day trip to Delphi, the religious center of Ancient Greece? Yes, please! A day trip to Meteora to see unbelievable geological formations that PEOPLE LIVE ON, yes, again! Fitting all into a 3-day stay in Athens? Err… If only you had a relative, a nephew or the like, who would take the day off and drive you there himself, filling you in on the history and culture of the place as only a native could, stopping for coffee just when you need it, dropping you off and picking you up right at the entrances like, let’s face it, your age prefers to the hike up the highway from where you would have had to park. YOU DO! Marselo was our guide for a private 14-hour day. He was an excellent driver, a comfortable companion, and an intelligent and informative guide. We toured in 92-degreee (F) July heat, and the sights were still awe-inspiring. Delphi and Meteora are not to be missed, and now I’m going to have to rewatch the movie 300, after our stop at Thermopylae. The day ended with a charming traditional dinner at a quiet local Athens neighborhood with more cats than tourists – the kind of place your nephew would take you. Tours like this are inevitably long on travel time, but Marselo made it as painless as possible, even encouraging a nap on the way back to town. Money well spent for us.

We booked this tour last minute, and we're so glad we did! Constantine was an excellent driver and a wonderful guide. He was exceptionally knowledgeable about the history of the Peloponnese, and his enthusiasm made each stop more engaging. Rather than simply pointing out the sites, he provided historical context that helped us better understand what we were seeing and how each location fit into the region's history. The pace of the day was just right. We never felt rushed. Having a private tour gave us the flexibility to enjoy each stop at our own pace, and Constantine made the entire day easy and enjoyable. What an incredible experience! My family and I had an unforgettable day on this super convenient private tour to see both Delphi and Meteora. Everything was perfect- from our smooth pick up, safe and comfortable ride and just the perfect amount of time at each location. Our driver and guide Marselo was wonderful! He was a great driver, incredibly knowledgeable about every where we went, friendly and accommodating.
