Thanks to Liam and Captain Skip we had an informative and entertaining day. We learned a lot and saw so many of the major sights in one day. As a first-time visitor, it was the best introduction to the Thousand Islands I could have asked for. The lunch was delicious too!
This was a wonderful way to see the 1000 Islands, the St. Lawrence River, and get history and information about the region. Boldt Castle and the Rock Island Lighthouse were fantastic and interesting sights and we stopped long enough to get a real feel for each of these. Our guide was knowledgeable, the lunch was good, and it was a great day out!
The boat tour was interesting and well paced, and the crew was friendly, experienced and knowledgeable. My friend and I enjoyed learning about the islands and the history of many of the cottages. The stops at Boldt Castle and Rock Island were highlights (the main reason we took the tour). Overall, the experience was a great value.

This tour was fantastic. The guide and captain are great! They provided a bag lunch. The time at the castle was long enough to explore the grounds, the time at the light house was great. You get to go up in the light house and the lighthouse keeper tells the history of the island and lighthouse at the top of the light house. The views from the top are amazing. They take you around the thousand islands and million dollar row on the American and Canadian side. I would highly recommend it!

Great Price for all that's included, Brad knew his stuff, all around a super great day. My husband and I would have liked more time at Boldt Castle bc there's so much to see there & we really wanted to take it all in. I would come back and do it again with the whole family. Super relaxing. Don't book for a Tuesday, bc the lighthouse is closed on Tuesdays.
Happy Birthday! Thank you for touring with us. The Lighthouse is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday early and late in the season. They are now open 7 days a week.

Enjoyable trip with an interesting and entertaining narrative giving a good overview of the area. Boldt Castle is definitely worth a visit.

We were on the first tour of the season and it was a gorgeous day! The narrator has lots of interesting information to share and the captain was friendly and fun as well. We've been on the larger tours but we'll return to Clayton Island Tours, they are wonderful!

We did the Ultimate 1000 island tour. On this tour, we visited Boldt Castle and Rock Island with a picnic lunch for 5 hours. Kris was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and personable. I could tell she enjoyed her job. The boat had difficulty on our tour which made it run a bit over schedule, but the crew did their best to make sure we got everything that was promised. There can always be unexpected things, but when the crew does their best to rectify things, it makes a difference. The picnic lunch had a sandwich, chips, cookie and drink. It was okay. But the tour provided a wealth of information on all the islands and was very enjoyable. I would recommend them. Tickets to the castle and lighthouse were included but boat house was not. Both were enjoyable. There isn’t enough time to do the boathouse, but you can drive to it on your own.
