The positives: a wonderful scenic float down the snake river and view of the Tetons, Wyoming mountains, and more. The equipment is top-notch and the guides are all wonderful. If you get cold, they have blankets and if it’s raining, they have ponchos. During low water season the trip takes about two hours and high water season just over an hour. You are literally just floating down the river at the rivers pace. The negatives: $120 per person seems pricey for what you’re given. For us it was worth the price for the experience. They also do not give you any food and they do not give you any snacks. They don’t give you any water. You have to bring all that yourself. There is also no place to go to the bathroom once you’re on the boat. They do have facilities before and after you’re on the boat though. A modified upgraded school bus takes you to your drop off point and pick you up when done.
We floated down the snake River with Egan. He was very friendly and competent guide. He took his time and made sure everyone had a great view.
The float was very enjoyable. Our guide Tabbie was amazing and informative, providing history about the land and facts about the animals. The bus driver was also very funny and knowledgeable about the area and properties.
Amazing time! We had Abby (turtle) and she did a great job. Would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and informative activity!
Amazing experience lots of wildlife, the staff and our guide were really knowledgeable and friendly. It was a rainy day and they were completely honest with us from the start about the weather and the water conditions and gave us the choice if we wanted to carry on or get a refund. It was a once in a lifetime trip for us so we went ahead and enjoyed every minute….. and the sun came out. Such a friendly bunch I would definitely recommend this trip !
Well organized, friendly guides and helpers, and short bus rides. Nice views of the Tetons, a little white-water, and didn't get wet.
Wonderful experience. We were encouraged to meet each other and that made the experience even better. Rose was a knowledgeable guide and easygoing.
Vlad is the ideal guide: funny, intelligent, very competent, and engaging. He was really knowledgeable about the nature, area, and life in Jackson. The trip was gorgeous and I learned a lot!
This was a beautiful emersion into nature. Saw diverse wildlifeamazing.
I know that I am going against the other reviewers - but, the trip was 2+ hours long and was so boring. It would have been just fine if it had been 30 - 45 minutes long. Even the other folks around us were timing it on their watches and telling us how much longer. Yes, we did see eagles (15) - but, I felt trapped in a VERY uncomfortable seat. There really was nothing else to look at. Much of the river has man made sides - so it does not look natural. Our guide was very enthusiastic and, at times I felt sorry for her because she was trying so HARD to make the trip interesting! I would never waste 2 hours of my time on this river "adventure".
