När du passerar platsen kommer du att få höra i detalj hur huvudarkitekten bakom den slutliga lösningen på judiska frågan mördades av de modiga tjeckoslovakiska fallskärmssoldaterna.
Vårt besök i koncentrationslägret Terezin varar cirka 2 timmar, under vilket en ackrediterad reseguide leder dig genom den ryggradsliga platsen. Du kommer att se både Gestapofängelset och Terezin-gettot.
Ett all-inclusive-kaffe och ökenbesök på det vackraste regionala caféet kommer att lätta upp ditt humör efter lägerutflykten. Den medeltida kungliga staden Litoměřice var värd för José Rizal, Filippinernas nationalhjälte, eftersom hans vän, prof. Blumenttrit, bodde där. Rizal-minnesmärken kan valfritt besökas.
Vår tur fortsätter till nationalparken Böhmen och Saxon Schweiz där resten av dagen spenderas på två av de mest populära platserna: Narnia Labyrinth of Tisá och Bastei-bron i Sachsen. Mellan de två utflykterna kommer du att njuta av något av det bästa gastronomin som Böhmen har att erbjuda.
Njut av en lättsam promenad genom en sandstenslabyrint där den första Narnia till stor del filmades. Det är romantiskt, utomhus, uppfriskande, avkopplande och vackert på samma gång!
Efter att ha ätit lunch i regionens högst rankade restaurang som majoriteten av våra resenärer bedömer som den bästa måltiden på sin semester, njut av turnéns natursköna höjdpunkt - Bastei-bron. Denna sida besöks endast februari - oktober på grund av dagsljus och säkerhetsskäl!
Vår vinterupplaga av turnén (november-januari) inkluderar en utflykt till staden Dresden. Förundras över den fantastiska arkitekturen som antingen besparats från andra världskrigets bombningar eller restaurerats under det senaste förflutna. Detta besök är särskilt roligt under advent (december) på grund av den magiska atmosfären på de unika julmarknaderna som staden är känd för.

Peter is THE BEST guide! Our small group had a truly magical day - he is deeply knowledgeable about the areas we visited, funny, and extremely engaging! Terezin was somber and educational, and the two hikes weren't challenging or taxing and absolutely gorgeous. We stopped at a terrific cafe in the morning and had a delicious late lunch - I unequivocally recommend this trip!
Peter has studied the local facts and history of all the places we visited. The coffee shop and meal were top notch! Highly recommend this tour.
Amazing experience! The tour was very well organized, and our guide was kind, patient, and shared a lot of interesting information throughout the day. Terezín was a very emotional place to visit, and Bohemian Switzerland was even more beautiful than I expected. The views were incredible, and the whole day felt well balanced. I also enjoyed the lunch stop and the small details that made the trip comfortable. Definitely worth it if you’re visiting Prague. Highly recommended!

You have to do this day tour! Pete was amazing and picked us up right on schedule. We didn’t feel rushed for any portion of the trip and Pete was very knowledgeable about all of the areas we went to visit. It is really helpful having a local guide. The coffee and cakes shop was AMAZING and you will have many options to choose from. The lunch was also wonderful with the option of traditional food. The marina filling site was gorgeous and not hard of a hike at all and you have to see the bridge - it is so beautiful in person. Thank you , Pete!

Petr gave us a memorable experience on this tour. We started with an informative tour of the Terazin concentration camp and its dark history. We then switched gears and explored the beautiful sandstone formations that served as a backdrop in the Chronicles of Narnia. We then stopped for an amazing traditional Czech meal in Tisa-Ostrov before crossing the border for more sandstone formations and the Bastei bridge. Overall excellent tour for anyone who loves WW1/WW2 history along with seeing the beautiful nature of Bohemia. Petr has his history down and is very engaging. You’re also guaranteed to get your 10,000 steps in😉. Highly recommend!

Beautiful scenery! Loved the sandstone cliff area. Bastei bridge was simply gorgeous! Nice to leave Prague and see the countryside. Petr was very knowledgeable and accommodating. The lunch was wonderful- really enjoyed the restaurant.

Pete was a great guide and shared a lot of the history and fun facts about Czech. Each location was easy to get to, and he was very accommodating when traveling with my 78 year old mother. Terezin is a must see stop when wanting to learn more about WWII history, and the cafe had delicious cakes. Narnia and Bastei are very beautiful, me preferring Bastei. The lunch was in a beautiful mountain town and the service was exceptional. This was a very easy and fun day, with everything done for you by Pete. You can't beat it!
