Nyligen matcha grönt te har blivit populärt runt om i världen. Matcha spelar en viktig roll i en traditionell japansk teceremoni. Men att lära sig om japansk teceremoni betyder mycket mer än att bara lära sig att göra matcha. Varför var detta en nödvändig praxis för samurajer och munkar i forna tider? Varför fortsätter "ceremonin" än idag? Kom, kliv in i en värld av djup andlighet och släpp din själ fri. 1. Inledning: Du kommer att lära dig de grundläggande begreppen och idéerna för teceremoni. Du kommer också att lära dig hur man beter sig i en tesalong och uppskattar dess dekoration. 2. The Way of Tea: Du kommer att titta på en demonstration av vägen för te. Vi tror att du kommer att njuta av den lugna och fridfulla atmosfären. 3. Hands-on: Gör ditt eget te! Vi kommer att berätta hur man dricker det, och även servera dig en speciellt utvald japansk tårta. * Vänligen kom i tid. Vi kan inte tillåta att sena besökare ansluter sig till en session när den har startat. *Vänligen avstå från att ta med barn under 6 år.

We were delighted to meet the tea masters who guided us through this experience. The ceremony is very slow and thoughtful so some guests might find it tedious, but we found it relaxing and insightful to participate in Japanese culture for an hour.

We did the Tea Ceremony Experience and it was genuinely one of the highlights of our trip. The setting was beautiful and peaceful, and the whole experience felt wonderfully authentic. Our host was warm, patient and incredibly knowledgeable, explaining the meaning behind each step in a way that was easy to follow and really engaging. It was hands-on, calming and thoughtfully paced, and we left feeling both relaxed and richer for having learned something special. If you’re in Kyoto and want a cultural experience that’s memorable (not touristy), I highly recommend.

Small group experience, only 4 of us. Hostesses were lovely ladies , very welcoming and friendly. No pressure to be involved but we did, and very positive experience. Highly recommend

The hosts were so talented, meticulous doing the tea ceremony demo. And then, so kind and encouraging when helping us learning the ways of the tea. We really appreciated our time at Ami Kyoto, we would recommand 100% to anyone looking for this type of activity while traveling to Kyoto.
