Most important: It was safe ride. Before we started they gave us a hard time to make arrangements for pick-up.

The van from Bangkok to the Cambodian border was not as nice as the pictures (surprise!), that was ok, but the shock absorbers were not ok. Somehow between all the WhatsApp messaging including the company rep and 2 drivers, NO ONE TOLD US WE HAD TO WALK ACROSS THE BORDER to find our next van. Our first driver spoke no English, and just stopped in a parking lot, and unloaded our bags, then waved goodbye. I thought this meant a new driver would be picking us up...we could not "see" the border from the parking lot, since it was between 2 buildings and we had not a clue what was supposed to be happening. After waiting about 45 minutes, we finally got word through the app and an employee at the parking lot, that we needed to walk across the border, leaving Thailand and entering Cambodia, then our next driver would meet us. Luckily, the second van had better shocks, and the driver spoke a little English. The overall experience was fine, the knock on the stars is solely because I would have preferred to not wait around for the necessary information.

Everything worked out great. You are driven to the border, cross the border and the next driver is already waiting on the other side. The drivers coordinate independently and were all on time. However, it should be noted that you have to walk across the border yourself (border crossing checkout / border crossing checkin). You are not guided here (and it is hardly possible). So you should have some travel experience, as you will be standing at the border with locals and everything is a bit disorganized. This can seem "exciting" to people who are not experienced travelers. However, I did not see a dangerous situation at all.

They made overland travel from Thailand to Cambodia easy. Communication with WhatsApp was helpful to confirm pickup time and location, and they also assisted with where and how to cross the boarder to Cambodia. Once we arrived at our hotel in Siem Reap we were warmly greeted by the tour operator. We would certainly recommend them to anyone.
