Vår Lausanne Food Tour är en rundvandring i gamla stan. Du kommer att guidas av en lokal Expert, som kan förklara varje detalj i de valda restaurangerna, deras förberedelser och annan relevant historia eller kuriosa. - Du kommer att prova några av de mest ikoniska Vaudois rätter, såsom Rostis eller Paté Vaudois. - Lär dig hemligheterna med schweizisk choklad medan du njuter av en läcker carac, en liten tårta med en fantastisk och krämig chokladfyllning, eller smutta på hjärtvärmande varm choklad. - All mat och dryck som beskrivs ingår. - Genom att boka denna rundvandring bidrar du till en hållbar turism och skapar ett gemensamt värde med lokala företag.

Börja din matresa på ett av de mest kända torgen i staden, där du också kommer att se den ikoniska Horloge de la Palud, en mekanisk klocka som presenterar historien om Lausanne och Vaud regionen i animerade scener varje timme. I närheten, i en lokal boucherie, kommer du att ha en smak av en mindre känd version av den berömda croissant: salt, med skinka och bechamelsås. En bra förrätt att börja med!
I en charmig fromagerie, som ligger precis i närheten av Notre-Dame de Lausanne basilikan - den första katolska kyrkan i regionen efter den protestantiska reformationen - kommer du att ha en smak av några av de mest kända och älskade typer av ost från Vaud regionen.
Prova den traditionella Rösti, en symbol för det schweiziska köket: en stekt potatispannkaka som du kommer att äta i sin Vaudois-version, med korv och racletteost på toppen. Du kommer att äta det inne i en av de äldsta restaurangerna i stan, öppnade 1780!
Mitt i gamla stan, har en smak av den typiska carac. Det är ett bakverk gjort på en shortcrust paj fylld med en rik blandning av choklad och grädde och täckt med en grön sockerglasyr. Helt enkelt utsökt!
Efter en utsökt och gourmet promenad runt den charmiga staden Lausanne, kommer din kulinariska resa att sluta i ett fantastiskt café - grundat av en Maitre Chocolatier - där du kommer att njuta av en läcker kopp varm choklad. Choklad är en av de mest kända ingredienserna i Schweiz och den är definitivt utsökt i alla dess texturer!

This was a very friendly, informative and filling walking food tour of Lausanne! Cheese and chocolate were wonderful.
Our Tour guide Christina was a pure gem! She was very knowledgable and gave us a great backround of the history and culture. We had wonderful pastries and a delightful stop to sample various cheeses. We stopped for a nice lunch with wine and then on for some delicious chocolate dessert and last but no least for the drink of Switzerland--Hot chocolate! It was a wonderfull way to spend some time in Lausanne with such a friendly tour guide! I would highly recommend this tour!!

Very enjoyable and personal experience. We had an open day in Lausanne and wanted a taste of the local food and we had the best time. Along the way we learned a lot about the city and our guide was knowledgeable and added many interesting details about the city and the food culture. It was a great kick start to our Swiss vacation and I could not recommend it more. Every person we met at the establishment were so welcoming and it was a great value too.
My wife and I enjoyed our food tour yesterday with Christina. The meeting location is easy to find. We stopped at the five places that others have mentioned in their reviews. Christina was an outstanding guide. Very personable, shared her love of the food and the history of Lausanne. A great first day in the city for us. We recommend this tour.
We had an awesome experience on our food tour of Lausanne with Christina! The meeting place was easy to find and Christina was waiting for us. We started with an appetizer of pate, next onto a selection of cheeses, to a delicious potato dish (Rösti, I think) and then dessert of Carac. Lastly some outstanding hot chocolate. I would recommend the dark hot chocolate. Our tour was excellent. Christina gave us a great background and history of the area and the various sights She stopped for pictures and gave thorough explanations of history. She answered all of our questions Christina was very personable. Would highly recommend taking this tour, arrive hungry as you will be very full and maybe need to take some as leftovers. Five stars and thank you, Christina.
Chris was a fantastic tour guide for Lausanne! The tour was with just me and my husband, and Chris was great at answering our many questions about the area, the culture, etc. The food was so interesting and so good (and SO filling! - Don’t eat breakfast beforehand). We visited during a heat wave in May, and the food was possibly a bit heartier and warmer than expected, but that’s the case with most Swiss local food. We thoroughly enjoyed this, and it was a highlight of our Switzerland trip.
We toured with Christina in Sept of 2025. Surprisingly my husband and I were the only 2 of the tour. It was an amazing experience touring Lausanne and an easy way to see the sight and try the local food. We had plenty of food and enjoyed trying it all! We took the train from Montreux and found it easy to meet up with Christina. I would recommend this to anyone.
