På denna turné går du, tillsammans med en lokal guide, genom kvarteret "La Latina" för att upptäcka dess historia genom några av de mest autentiska tavernor som fortfarande finns kvar i Madrid. Vårt mål är att du ska ha möjlighet att spela på att vara lokal samtidigt som du smakar på det lokala köket. För det inbjuder vi dig att gå med oss genom gatorna i detta emblematiska kvarter. På så sätt kommer du att kunna lära känna vår kultur, dess seder och ord och uppleva den sanna magin i att leva i denna fantastiska stad. Kom ivriga att äta, vi försäkrar dig att du kommer att lämna detta möte nöjd!

I början av turen kommer vi att prata lite om Madrids historia, vad Österrikes Madrid är och hur historien påverkade lokal mat. Vårt mål är att de ska lära känna ett autentiskt Madrid, ett lokalt Madrid.
Grannskapet "La Latina", en traditionell stadsdel, är idag värd för mycket turism, men om du vet hur man söker kan du hitta de bästa platserna. Traditionella tavernor där du kan prova de mest typiska tapas i denna stad. Vi kommer att göra stopp på olika platser för att smaka på det lokala köket.
"Mercado de San Miguel" är den mest kända marknaden som finns idag i Madrid. Dess besök är ett måste om det är första gången du besöker denna stad. Och om du redan vet det skadar det aldrig att besöka det igen.
På vår rundtur gör vi ett stopp på Plaza Mayor. Den mest emblematiska Plaza som finns i Madrid. Här ska vi prata lite om detta torgs betydelse för staden och dess historia.
Vår sista restaurang ligger på Embroiderers Street mycket nära Plaza Mayor. Där kommer vi att smaka på de senaste tapas som vi valt ut för denna turné och vid avresan avslutar vi turnén.

Our guide Maya did an amazing job. The first stop on the trip The family restaurant Casa Paco was not a good experience, the staff did not greet and it seemed almost as if they had forgotten we came, we were served red wine in wet glasses that were not washed off properly. The other 3 stops on the trip were ok

This was a super fun food tour. Our guide, Maya, was very knowledgeable about the food we tasted and how it is prepared. She knew about the history of the area and the buildings. There were 3 different food and wine stops and each was very different, but very good. We enjoyed the walk through some neighborhoods we had not been before. The tapas all were so good, as well as the wines. We were able to taste the Spanish vermut, which was very different for us. A super nice evening with good food and a very good guide.

This was hands down one of the best experiences I had in Madrid. The food was absolutely incredible, and Maia’s passion for Spanish cuisine made it even more enjoyable. We visited local spots I would’ve never found on my own, and the service throughout the tour was top-notch — attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming.
