This was a fantastic trip, definitely a once I a life time trip. The tour guide was most helpful and knowledgeable.

Our guide was really good. He had a lot of history to share of Agra fort and the Taj Mahal . He adjusted his pace to our pace. He explained the history to my kids as well. I highly recommend him.

Fantastic tour, we signed up for the tour doing a day trip from Delhi. Picked up from Agra station and driven to the Taj Mahal and Agra fort in an air conditioned car. Great staff, Raj was a great tour guide and he also showed us some of the marble artisans and textile workers. Took us to a great restaurant for lunch and then dropped us off at the train station with plenty of time.

Imperial India Tours organized a ten day tour for us through Rajasthan in 2018. We asked to stay in Heritage/Luxury Hotels with two specific destinations being the Taj Mahal Hotel in Mumbai and the Lake Palace Hotel in Udaipur. Everything was organized perfectly and our drive was wonderful as were all the people who met us at each destination. We were always made to feel very welcome and the time keeping was impeccable. An excellent adventure made totally memorable.

Just got back from a 10-day tour of Northern India with Imperial India Tours with my wife and two teenage children. Went to Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Varanasi, and on a Tiger Safari. Everything went perfectly and as advertised. I have taken tours all over the world using many different travel agencies and I can say that Imperial India Tours was as good as any I have ever used. I live in the United States and whenever I travel to Asia, Africa, or South America I always wonder if I should use an agency in the United States or one in the local country. I have found that local tour agencies tend to be much more economical as well as more knowledgeable about local conditions. My experience with Imperial India Tours certainly reinforced that impression. When I started planning for the trip I got quotes from agencies in the United States, England, and Canada as well as from India. I noticed the travel agencies in the United States, England, and Canada, charged two to three times as much for the same itinerary using the same hotels as the agencies in India. Once I decided to go with an Indian agency I got quotes from several local ones. The downside of using an agency in a far away land is wondering whether you are dealing with a professional organization or some fly by night operation. You look for a professional looking website, you check the reviews, and you make sure the agency is responsive but in many ways it is a leap of faith. I picked Imperial India Tours because they seemed the most professional and responsive of any of the tour agencies I studied in India. I was not disappointed. Like any trip, things never go exactly as planned, and I was very impressed how quickly and easily Imperial India tours handled my last minute changes. For example, after India I was going to Nepal and Air India changed my flight from 7a to 9pm which would have made me miss my connecting flight in Nepal. To accommodate this, I had to shift my itinerary one day forward. Imperial India Tours made all of the adjustments without problems. A few days later Air India changed my flight back to 7am making me have to shift back to the original itinerary. I was very impressed how quickly and easily Imperial India made all of the necessary changes. Likewise, I was supposed to fly to Jaisalmer for a camel safari in the desert but at the last second my flight got cancelled because of airport construction. Imperial India tours made all the necessary adjustments without delay. After we left Varanasi my daughter told me she left her dental retainer in the hotel by accident. We were already 500 miles away. I sent Sandeep Chauhan an email asking for assistance and I was very impressed how quickly he tried help. All of the hotels that we stayed at were top notch, all of our local guides were fantastic, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and flexible. Our one driver who spent the whole tour with us was perfect. Everything went exactly as advertised. I found the tour to be a real joy and I would enthusiastically recommend Imperial India Tours to anyone.

If looking for a private tour in India you can’t go past this company!! From the moment of contact via email everything was managed promptly and professionally. Going direct to an Indian based company meant saving costs. Sandeep organised the most incredible tour for myself and hubby (left kids at home) from Delhi to varanasi Jaipur and Agra. Different guides in each city and a driver who was just lovely and excellent!! All pick ups and check ins were smooth and efficient. No waiting around as sites or hotels or airports. Flexible on days we didn’t want to do everything or wanted to do more. All the guides were very knowledgeable! I couldn’t recommend highly enough - you need this company if travelling to India. Highly recommend Varanasi!! Only wish we had longer to do and see more cities. We will be back!

We were a party of 4 for a trip to India. We selected Imperial India Tours because they were the most accommodating to our wishes, they were not the cheapest but they answered our questions in a timely manner and made changes to our satisfaction. We made our own itinerary, we flew to Delhi and were welcomed each of us separately, coming from different countries, at odd hours and taken to the hotel. After 3 days of sightseeing we flew to Varanasi for 2 days and back to Delhi to start the Rajasthan tour. We had the same driver from Delhi to Udaipur, his name is Soni Parvinder, he is a true gentleman, very helpful, polite and accommodating. We visited Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Pushkar, Jodhpur and Udaipur, then a flight to Mumbai for one day city tour, with Varanasi, that was 15 days. It was our mistake to add Jodhpur, you should skip it. We opted for 3 stars hotels and they all were very nice, with air conditioning and no outage problems and internet. We had a different guide in each city, and they took us to the places on the itinerary. “Most” of the guides were good, some even excelled. (We added 5 days in Goa, Pallolem in a hut on the beach to relax. that was great and a must if you have time.). I would highly recommend Sandeep from Imperial India Tours, everything went very well. We did not have any problem and enjoyed our trip. I hope this will help any new travelers to India.

As a first time visit to New Delhi,Jaipur and Agra it was simply breath taking made possible with the excellent and safe personal driver and good guides all well spoken in English.The hotels were all excellent. We timed it well as it was my wife,s 70th.Birthday when we were at the Taj Mahal. That day 13th.Nov.2017 was a day my wife will never forget. We went on an 8 day tour visiting Delhi, Jaipur, Ranthambore National Park, Agra Varanasi and back to Delhi. Sandeep catered to what we wanted and was very helpful and obliging. We did the 3* deluxe package and all hotels were above what I had expected and most of them had good internet. Our tour guides were fantastic....Anil in Delhi and then Devender Pal. We were with Devender for 4 days. We could not speak highly enough of him. One of the tour guides at the Amer Fort Excursion rushed us through too much and didn't allow us time to look, but aside from that, a fantastic bunch of guides. We never had any problems and everything went smoothly. Would not hesitate to use Sandeep and his team again.

Imperial India Tours. We just completed the Golden Triangle tour in India and returned to UK. Throughout the booking process their MD Mr. Sandeep have been very much obliging to find our needs like explaining the standard of all the hotels booked for us and stated a comparison of other hotels in the cities and helped us to select right accommodations, he mailed us a list of places and attractions other than the main ones so that we could visit few more very attractive places and monuments, that too without any additional expanses. Right from the beginning Mr. Chandan their travel executive received us from the New Delhi airport and took us to the Taj and on the way received our children from the domestic airport, that itself was a an example of highly professional and friendly arrangements of pre-travel and the way he handled everything was remarkable. From there onwards the always smiling pleasant fellow our driver Pawan Kumar Maurya, what a human being under the wheel, he knows each and every ally-ways and corners of any cities or villages, his skill on his job has to be much acclaimed he himself is a guide, the way he keeps his car neat and clean we all appreciated every morning. At Delhi, Jaipur, Fatepur Sikri and Agra the Imperial India Tours arranged their own highly motivated and talented guides for us all are historians that much all of them are deep in knowledge with places and the history of ancient India. I would say special thanks to Babu Bhai the Jaipur guide to take us to the Chokhi Dhani ancient village, remarkable night-out there. Throughout the whole week of trip twice a day we received calls from Chandan, asking about wellbeing of us, that much Imperial India Tours give importance to their clients. I would highly recommend Imperial India Tours to my friends for a hassle free trip. We don’t have any good opinion about the Hotel Clarks Shiraz, Agra and I won’t recommend it anyone.
