Absolutely loved this tour with our guide Žiga! The food was delicious and we had so much fun exploring the city! We loved hearing more about the history of the city and insight into where the food culture stems from. We would definitely recommend to any hungry travelers!
We had a food tour with Matic and he was fantastic! It poured down rain and he was very quick to pivot to other equally delicious places to keep us from getting drenched. He’s very knowledgeable and engaging. We loved this tour!
We had a great time on the food tour. I specifically want to mention our host, Matic, was awesome. We ended up showing up a bit late, but Matic and company worked hard to get us up to speed. We also received plenty of recommendations about places off the tour to have breakfast/lunch/dinner. We ran into some heavy rainfall and in real time Matic readjusted our stops to make sure we had a “drier” experience with plenty of excellent Slovenian food. Of course all of the food and drink was excellent. I highly recommend the tour and cannot think of more accommodating or hospitable hosts. 10/10!
We had a great time on our tour, sampling street food, pizza, Slovenian sausage, wines, and other dishes. Our stomachs ran out of room but we managed to create space for the dessert. Janez was an amazing guide. Very personable and knowledgeable about Ljubljana as well as Slovenian history. All in all it was one of the highlights of our visit.
Food tour with Janus was excellent. He allowed us to try many different foods typical to Ljubljana. He was very knowledgeable with a warm personality and took interest in everyone in our party.
Janez was a super guide and made the tour very enjoyable with his extensive knowledge of the Ljubljana food and wine scene. We started the tour with some local street food (Burek) and continued the tour with a visit to a wine bar where we enjoyed an interesting orange wine, nicely paired with local charcuterie. Other stops included one of the top pizza places in the city, a taste of raw oysters paired with petnat, sampling local sausage and finishing off with a lovely local pastry. It was an interesting selection of foods and Slovenian wines, punctuated with Janez’ commentary on Slovenian history and culture . It felt like we were out for an evening with an old friend. I would highly recommend this tour!
Janez was a lovely guide - engaging, informative and interested in our preferences. We started with street food, then a wine tasting, moved on to regional kielbasa, pizza from a highly rated establishment, fresh oysters and dessert! Among our best GetYourGuide experiences!
This eat & drink tour was such a great experience! Janez is such a nice guide, really well informed, and chose the right spots for us to have a nice local meal. I can totally recommend it to everyone who visits Ljubjana. 5 stars!
Our tour guide yannis was great. Very knowledgeable, excellent English, and an interesting person with lots of background information about what we ate and saw.
Worth every penny. Delicious food and wine. Lots of variety. Our guide Ziga was excellent, charming, knowledgeable.
