På Sydkusten och Glaciärlagunen Tour kommer du att tillbringa dagen med att uppleva den uppfriskande mångfalden i det isländska landskapet. Från utsikt över Vatnajokullglaciären, vattenfallen Skogafoss och Seljalandsfoss till de glittrande isklumparna på Diamond Beach vid Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon. På vägen till glaciärlagunen passerar du genom Islands sydkustregion, ett land med magnifika vattenfall, slående svart sand, massiva glaciärer och vulkaner varvat med gårdar. Du får en oförglömlig utsikt över Skaftafells vildmarksområde i Vatnajokull nationalpark och kör genom Skeidararsandurs starkt vackra svarta sandvidd. Strax innan du når lagunen har du också utsikt över Islands största aktiva vulkan, Oraefajokull.

Islands mest berömda vulkan är utan tvekan Eyjafjallajökull, som senast exploderade 2010 och orsakade flygförstörningar i Europa i veckor.
På vägen tillbaka från att besöka glaciärlagunen, stannar du vid ett av de mer unika vattenfallen på Island, Seljalandsfoss. Vad som gör detta vattenfall så speciellt är gångvägen bakom vattenfallet som, när vädret tillåter, möjliggör ett helt nytt perspektiv.
Innan du når Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon, kommer du att stanna vid Skogafoss, ett fantastiskt vattenfall som ger dig tillgång till fantastisk utsikt från både under och under, via en trappa.

Vatnajökulls glaciär är massiv och täcker 14 000 kvadratkilometer och det är Breidamerkurjokull, en av de många delarna av denna stora glaciär, som skapar den magiska Jokulsarlon-glaciärlagunen. Därifrån går en lätt promenad ner till Diamond Beach där du kan se isberg som har sköljt upp på den svarta sandstranden, glittrande i solen som juveler.
Under det planerade stoppet för Jökulsárlón rekommenderar vi att du kollar in Diamond Beach som ligger bara några minuters promenad bort, för att se fantastiska isberg utspridda på den svarta sandstranden.
Du får en oförglömlig utsikt över Skaftafells vildmarksområde i Vatnajokull nationalpark.
Kör genom Skeidararsandurs starka, svarta sandsträcka.

The Glacier Lagoon is stunning. On the way there and back we visited a couple of stunning waterfalls. Our guide Lasma was so knowledgeable. It is a long day but you see so much of Icelands stunning countryside.

Long but fantastic tour! Wonderful scenery! Mikki was great! He made sure we had frequent restroom stops. The tour departed on time and the first pickup was smooth!

I had taken this tour three days prior, it was absolutely amazing! When I received the email confirmation, it explained for a 730 excursion. Waiting for the tour bus from 719 until 815 I called. They explained to me the excursion started at 7:30, but they stopped by to pick me up at 7 AM. I have been downstairs having breakfast and missed the bus! Truly a disappointment!! The main goal for this trip was to see the diamond Beach, that was the main part of this excursion. Thankfully, I had taken a previous excursion to win the diamond beach, but the weather was a little crappy. This day, the weather was beautiful, and I’m sure they had a wonderful time. Unfortunately, I missed out! I’m not pointing fingers, but I wish it would’ve been clearer on the email they sent to be in the lobby at seven and not 730. If you booked this trip, make sure you know what time they’re going to pick you up.

Be aware of tour start time. My ticket from Viator stated tour starts at 8:00 am and be at pickup location at 7:30 am. We arrived at 7:25 am and waited for 50 minutes with several other tour buses coming and going. I called the actual tour company to inquire about our tour only to find out that it actually started at 7:30 am and we should have been at the pickup location at 7:00 am. The bus left without us. I sent requested screenshots of the Viator ticket to the tour company so they can address it with Viator. I requested a refund from Viator explaining what happened. Viator did refund the entire amount within a couple of hours. Unfortunately, I can’t comment on the tour itself. This was our last day and we were unable to book for another day. This was NO fault of the tour company.

We had two of the most experienced and wonderful people to take care of us. Chris our guide was great, keeping us informed and making sure we were doing great! Robert , our driver took us safely for 14 hours through some of the most challenging wind storms I’ve ever been through!! Bravo!! Great tour

It is a thankful tour by the Chief who has gone over 800km. This tour takes at least eight hours away, so if you have a dry photo during the bus ride, it should be taken immediately. It's a great view because it doesn't stop. This part is so bad. It's unfortunate to understand a hundred times because of the tour time. Toilets and meals, rather often stop for shopping. Don't even ignore the money you need to spend at least to sit in the restaurant. The tour guide (Gunnar) is very knowledgeable and explains a lot on the bus, so the journey will be boring because it's long on the bus, but sometimes it seems boring for others. In other comments I saw a lot that we were going to see Aurora for the last time, but we didn't hear about Aurora, and there was no stop on the way home. As a result felt like a journey to the Diamond Beach. Of course, the nature of Iceland is indescribably beautiful. But it feels like it's just the price of oil and the cost of driving. If I had a glacier hiking tour I would also like to.

Overall incredible experience which was coordinated well and delivered on both the lagoon and diamond beach, providing an unforgettable experience.
The tour is amazing and we really have the great day. The tour guide is knowledgeable and I will definitely join again .
Our guide was excellent and the itinerary great. It's a long day however well worth the adventure! The only thing that would have made it perfect was a pause in the rain :) Thanks for the great care, experience, and memories!
