Du kommer att promenera i de världsberömda Sponge Docks och lära dig om den blomstrande fiske- och svampindustrin. Smaka på äkta grekiska bakverk och kaffe i ett bageri som är nästan 100 år gammalt. Gå där de första svampdykarna förvarade där svampar. Alla turer kan anpassas och/eller privata!

Du kommer att fördjupa dig i vår grekiska kultur som tidiga nybyggare förde till denna by vid havet. Du avslutar med "Conversation and Coffee" ett kort paus, och njuter av ett "lera kaffe" - ett traditionellt mörkt rostat brygg och ett bakverk också!

This was an amazing tour of the historic Greek district led by an authentic member of the community. Her engaging stories brought the history to life as we explored her family's rich culture.

This tour was shorter than advertised- being about an hour and 10 minutes. It consisted of walking approximately 2 - 3 blocks. It appeared that the owner/normal tour guide (of Greek descent) was not available to lead the tour so I feel that we missed out on a much richer tour. It was billed as “A Tour of the Docks” but we spent very little time at the docks. I feel that we may have been able to gain as much knowledge by reading a self guided tour brochure.

Do not hesitate to take this tour without it we never wound have learned so much about the Greek immigration, the earlier years of their life here and immense knowledge about sponges! Our guide had deep family ties to the area and could bring memories of her childhood into the experience. Highly recommend.
